What a gem in the Irish countryside! We wanted to take Nikki home with us! Beautiful, comfortable room, lots of personal touches (home made biscuits..mmmm) and we couldn't have felt more welcome! Brilliant value for money and delicious breakfast menu! The poached eggs laid by their very own chickens were lush! Everybody who goes to the Giants Causeway should stay... More

Niki and Paul made our stay in Ballycastle, Ireland so wonderful. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left we felt very welcome. Their hospitality is number one and even though our arrival the first night was very late, they never made us feel we were imposing on them in anyway. In fact, we were met out side... More

Nikki and Paul were so warm and welcoming and we loved playing with their dog Brian. The rooms were luxurious, the food unbelievably delicious, the entire atmosphere was relaxed elegance and soothing comfort. My only wish was that there was a pub within walking distance, but Ballycastle is a short cab ride away. We stayed 2 nights and this was... More

Our stay with Nicky and Paul was one of the highlights of our two week long journey around Northern and Southern Ireland. Welcoming but at the same time privacy and comfort would describe our stay. By far one of the best breakfasts. We loved being amongst the farm animals and the country feel yet only a few minutes from some... More

Friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, lovely room with large bathroom. What more could you ask? It was also convenient for travel along the North Coast and visits to the Giant's Causeway and Bushmills whisky distillery.

We just spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The Whins, Ballycastle is ideally situated for exploring Northern Ireland's beautiful coastline. Nestled in a farm area, creates the opportunity to have a quiet night's rest. The whole house is very clean and the new bathroom (Dunluce) is spotless. The breakfasts exceeded all expectations, worth mentioning here are the... More

This may be the best B&B we have ever experienced! We were greeted by the most healthy and happy chickens, a friendly black lab and by the lovely owners, Niki and Paul. We were two couples and The Whins B&B was perfect us. The two rooms and accompanying bathrooms and sitting room were spotless and simply but tastefully decorated. Crisp... More

All I can say is wow! This was the best of the best on our trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland. The rooms are beautiful. They even have great, plush towels in the bathroom which we found nowhere else on our trip. The breakfast was the best we had. Eggs used come from their own chickens and everything they served... What a great write up, thanks so much for taking the time to review us! We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much; what a shame it was only one night! The chickens are still behaving badly and trying to make their escape with any guests who aren't quick enough...we do regular head counts to make sure they... More

What should i say, we have never been in such a warm and comfortable place like this. The Owners are so worthfull persons and they give their familiar atmosphere to their guests. Forget all the TV Starcooks, Nicki made the best Breakfast in the world she has to get an Michelin Star for her selfmade bread. We look forward to... More

We stayed at The Whins just last week for 4 nights and I would highly recommend it. The room was lovely and comfortable, Niki and Paul are great hosts and it is a very good location for getting around. I have a gluten free diet, which was accommodated really well (and much appreciated), and my boyfriend spoke very highly of... More
