The Whins is a little out of town (Ballycastle) but no problem for those with a car. We were glad to escape the summer crowds to a quiet rural location. Paul and Niki immediately made us feel welcome with coffee and the best home-made Anzac biscuits. They gave us great advice on eating and finding the local music in Ballycastle.... More

This was our favorite B&B in the country. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming on our arrival. Even though we were the only guests during our visit Niki still insisted on presenting the "whole experience" as she called it during our breakfast time. Niki helped us with our travel agenda as there is so much to do in Co.... More

We were pampered! Niki and Paul made us feel at home in a warm and gracious atmosphere. Breakfasts were gourmet, beautifully presented and delicious - homemade bread and jams and free-range eggs. Tea and biscuits on arrival were heavenly. Niki could not have been more accommodating for everything we needed - refrigerating my medicated eye drops, calling a taxi to... More

We had 1 night at The Whins after visiting the Giant's Causeway. We were warmly welcomed by Nikki and Paul into an immaculate home. We had pre-ordered a cream tea, which was delicious; just a pity that we couldn't eat it all...!! We stayed in the Dunluce room which has an en suite bathroom. Comfortable bed and good powerful shower.... More

Just left after a night staying at the Whinns B&B. The warmest of welcomes and hosting skills left us planning a return visit the next time we are in the vicinity. We are keen walkers and on the owners suggestion walked to Murlough Bay and today from Ballintoy harbour to Whiterocks beach.... Stunning scenery . We loved all of it.... More

Stayed two nights with Nikki and Paul. This b&b is about 3 miles from Ballycastle, but for us the service and the homeliness of the Whins eliminated this as an issue. It was an extremely relaxing and wonderful stay. Accommodation was spotless and homely. Both Paul and Nikki couldn't do anymore to ensure we were happy. We were greeted with... More
