We stayed at The Whins just last week for 4 nights and I would highly recommend it. The room was lovely and comfortable, Niki and Paul are great hosts and it is a very good location for getting around. I have a gluten free diet, which was accommodated really well (and much appreciated), and my boyfriend spoke very highly of... More

Lovely, helpful hosts- Niki and Paul. Room was extremely clean and well appointed. Breakfast was beautiful (especially the homemade breads). Definitely worth a visit, and make sure you say hello to Brian the dog!

I have very little to add that hasn't already been said, wonderful location, lovely service, and a comfortable, well cared-for room. Niki and Paul are a fantastic couple who genuinely care for their guests; and a big shout out for Brian the dog!

This place is wonderful. Very comfortable and clean. Near the Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, and Dunluce Castle. We arrived early and had sandwiches, scones, and wheaten bread which were the best I had ever eaten. The breakfast was outstanding and I loved the soda farl. Then we had her picnic lunches to go and enjoyed them on the way... More

Niki and Paul have created a beautiful, warm, welcoming B&B. We were on hiking tour and Paul picked us up in nearby Ballintoy and drove us to the inn. Then they arranged for a taxi for our kids to go to a local pub to listen to Irish music. And, the eggs that Paul prepared for us for breakfast were... More

I don't know where to start. We were incredibly early and Paul, who you can tell was not used to checking people in, welcomed us with open arms. Niki arrived as we were off to explore some of Paul's recommendations and she could not have been more pleasant! I will tell you, you will not find a B&B that is... More

Five stars really isn't enough for The Whins. Perfect base for the multitude of scenic sites in the area and Niki was so helpful in maximizing the limited time we had available. Two outstanding breakfasts with mouth watering home made bread that I am determined to make at home. Niki, of course, not only shared the recipe, but sent me... More

We really enjoyed our stay (2 nights) at The Whins B&B. Their location has quick access to nearby towns and attractions, and Niki helped us out by having a stock of menus for different restaurants in nearby Ballycastle to assist us with planning an evening out. And the breakfast menu Niki presented us was AMAZING. We also got bag lunches... More

Niki and Paul are lovely hosts who have created a first rate B&B in a surprising location. Lovely decor, beautifully presented and tasty breakfasts.Niki's homemade breads are awesome and the eggs cooked by Paul were from there own chickens. The bed was comfortable, with lovely fresh white linens and the biggest, softest white towels I have ever used. Thanks for... More

The Whins B&B is the second reason to be back in Ballycastle just right next the astonishing beauty of the Giant's Causeway and the irish landscapes. The B&B is easily located in the country, not far away from the town centre. Perfect position to start exploring the wild coast, since all the highlights are within close range. The room was... More
