We had a one night stay on Friday 22nd May, an experience which was nothing other than a complete pleasure. Having originally arranged an 8 night stay in a rental property elsewhere, we were forced to make alternative plans as the owner decided to sell; at short notice we could only secure a house for 7 days but Clarewood House... Very close to the sea and the harbour of Bellycastle in the North of Ireland. We stayed in very nice rooms with a great bed and very clean. The full Irish breakfast was great and is a good start of the day. Bernadette is very nice and very helpful. We had a great stay.

What a great spot. Bernie and Bob were great hosts. Rooms clean and breakfast was fantastic. We had friends staying two doors down in J & J's and we were able to go between the two houses without any worries. Will be back to stay at the end of June. Don't pass by if your looking somewhere to stay. Thanks... More

We booked a night at the Clarewood House with Bob from the car we were driving on the coastal road. When we got to Ballycastle, we couldn't find the street so we called again and while we were on the phone with Bob, he led us to his door and welcomed us warmly. Our large room was on the first... This was by far the loveliest B&B we've ever stayed in! The hosts Bernie and Bob made us feel welcome even from the first phone call to check availability! We had a beautiful ensuite double room with our own private entrance. The bed was so comfy we didn't want to get out of it, but it was worth it when... More

What a wonderful B&B, lovely hosts, divine breakfast, sea view room, and beautiful tea and shortbread upon arrival. Truly was a wonderful night away - and Ballycastle was brilliant as well. Its a 8/10 min walk down into the centre of town - lots of little shops to wander around and some really nice bars for food and drink. We... More

We came upon the Clarewood house while driving along the A2 coastal highway looking for a different B&B. Traveling with my son & daughter in their 20's, we actually pulled into this cheery house at almost 9pm to ask for directions. The family was so kind, we decided to just stay! Bernadette, the lady of the house, showed us the... More

Nice location, 5 mins to town center, easy access to local attractions like Giant's Causeway. The best B&B I have ever experienced so far. Extremely clean, very quite, rooms are very well decorated and the memory foam mattress was very comfortable. Very friendly hostess, told us lots of useful travel information. It's a shame that I and my friends has... More
