By chance we came to this B&B and were so glad about it! The house is very nice looking. We just adored the staircase! So beautiful! And the view from the room to this peaceful garden .... excellent! Breakfast was perfect, and Marcus was very kind. We hope to come back again one day!

Had a lovely night stay here, friendly owners, comfortable room, modern B & B. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the warm home made scones!!! It's a little out of town, but it's only a 10-15 minute walk in, so best of both worlds really as you get a nice quiet place to relax.

We stayed at this B&B overnight. It was fine. All facilities were clean and working, with a good breakfast in the morning. Nothing more, nothing less. The rooms didn't have a lot of insulation, so noise was a but of a problem when the lady next door was unwell in the middle of the night, but otherwise it was fine.

My friend and I were touring Northern Ireland and just happened to be in Ballycastle for the night. We stumbled across Hillsea and it was perfect! The sleeping arrangements were quite nice, the garden was lovely, and the breakfast was superb! Perhaps the best we had in Northern Ireland. Marcus was EXTREMELY helpful. He recommended a pub within walking distance... More

This is such a lovely B&B - Thomas, the host, is super friendly and makes the best home baked goods. Our room was very spacious, clean and the beds were so comfy! Breakfast was amazing and the location is great as well - quiet road, but within walking distance to the town centre.

So happy we stumbled across this B&B randomly at night before we found dinner. Marcus was so friendly!! Had a lovely room and delicious breakfast. Probably our favorite homemade breakfast we had in all of Northern Ireland and Scotland. Excellent! Would definitely come back. Also went down to the local pub Oconners. Had a blast! Loved ballycastle. Want to move... More

A warm b&b in the seaside! We spent the a night, and it became better than a hotel! Marcus help us with thousands of things! We were running out of £ and he let us pay with €, and even changed us some coins! He served a complete breakfast WITH STRAWBERRIES! The house was really big, and the rooms quite... More

I visited "Hillsea" with my family last week. Markus greeted us very warm in quite cold and windy evening. He was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely appointed with large bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, probably the best i've had in recent time. All fresh, well cooked and warm scones were a lovely surprise. Even my... More

This B&B lies in a quiet residential area in Ballycastle, a nice sea town, very convenient for visiting the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge and the Giant's Causeway. Had an ensuite double with tv, tea&coffee. The bathroom was really tiny and dark (main light not functioning) but the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was great, beside cooked breakfast we were offered delicious... More

We enjoyed our stay here in June. Our room was comfortable with an attractive view of the garden. The welcome was friendly and we were given helpful advise on visiting Rathlin Island. Probably the best breakfast we have enjoyed in Ireland, breads and scones especially.
