Had a wonderful two nights stay at The Gregory. Lovely old building with modern touches. Friendly and helpful staff who were more than happy to sort out any requests. An early breakfast was required and this was efficiently organised. Same level of service when we were leaving, able to store suitcases and arrange taxis to the airport. Bedrooms were spacious,... We have booked our stay at The Gregory 3 months a priori through booking.com [after comparing reviews/check-in times/etc]. 2 weeks before our arrival (3 days before our departure on vacation) we have received an information that we will not be accommodated due to an overbooking and asked to cancel our confirmation on booking.com. Of course, situations like these happens, but... More

Stayed two nights at The Gregory. What can I say, faultless! Lovely room, great breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Nothing was any trouble and you felt totally comfortable asking for anything you needed. They will make tea and coffee for you at any time which was great! Highly recommended and will not look any further next time I return to... More

Arrived the Friday before Easter with my husband and father, and we had a bit of a rough start due to a misunderstanding regarding ground (UK) versus first (US) floor rooms - my father is disabled and unable to do stairs, so could not get to any of the rooms despite prior communication via email describing his limitations and the... very nice and friendly hotel in a victorian house situated in a quiet residential area, but close to the University and City Center. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed. And yes the breakfast is great as well! Can only recommend it wholeheartely.

The Gregory lived up to all its great reviews. The house is really lovely and the staff delightful. Our room was big and comfortable and the breakfast was the best we’d had in an age. It’s a little bit of a walk outside the city (15/20mins) but you really do have to walk off that big breakfast (haha). A big... More

Stayed in a triple room, beds were very comfortable and plush. Decor and room size amazing good facilities for making tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Bathroom a good size and nice extra touches with the toiletries. Guest sitting room was very comfortable. The beds were so comfortable that we slept in for breakfast & the chief said he would stay... This was the best guesthouse I have ever stayed at, I would highly recommend this to everyone traveling through belfast. We did a lot of walking around from our guest house, but you could definitely grab a cab or bus to the city center. We enjoyed the DELICIOUS breakfast and the hop on hop off bus that drove right by... More

When my wife book the Gregory I was sceptical. I'm not sure why the term "guesthouse" is applied because the experience of staying their put that at many a 4-Star hotel to shame. And my judgement isn't coloured by the fact that we were upgraded free to a bigger room without asking. Very clean and well-appointed, the facilities were matched... More
