I assisted a study away class to Northern Ireland. Our trip was split between Derry/Londonderry and Belfast. We were in Belfast for about a week and stayed here at the Farset. The rooms were comfortable and well arranged. While small, they didn't feel small. The breakfast buffet filled even me, a person with several food allergies/restrictions. The staff were SO... More

Ideal venue for a girlie break. Staff our polite and friendly, well managed by Ruth. Rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Beautiful view from balcony outside dining area, with a gorgeous vista of swans swimming on the river with panoramic city scapes in the distance. An ideal location to sip a glass of wine. Fab breakfast the morning of... More

Great place to stay and far from a hostel. The staff are extremely helpful the rooms are big and clean and the bathrooms are just fine and dandy. Wouldnt stay anywhere else as its the perfect location for our needs.

Have stayed at the Farset on many occasions. This is 1st review I've done of it however. Haven't a clue why it's classed as a hostel though as it's far superior to many hotels I've stayed in over the years. Rooms are spacious, always spotlessly clean, tv and coffee/tea making facilities provided and iron and board is supplied if requested... More

I'd read the mixed bag of reviews on here so wasnt sure what to expect. It's not a 5star place but it doesn't claim to be, the reception staff were friendly, rooms basic but clean. I guess the location might put some off but again it was fine for me. The only slight issue was the strong smell of paint... More

It is very good. And it also allow to inject some money in the "community". I went with my partner. Perhaps best to go by cab if u mind walking. Breakfast was good. Not too far from where action used to take place. The street is in the history of the area. I need to make two hundreds words but... More

I had provided a very positive review of the Farset some time ago and you can see details of that by checking out my previous submissions. Some of what I wrote then still stands but I'm afraid a recent experience of the Farste Hotel requires a significant re-review. I made a booking via email on for a Saturday in July... More

Every time I have stayed in Belfast I have stayed at the Farset. The value for money is outstanding and the friendliness of the staff is second to none. What you see is what you get from the Farset and it is an ideal base for exploring the city. Would always recomment this place to anyone going to Belfast.

One of us has stayed here four times and the other two times. Around four pounds for a taxi ride to the heart of the City. A little more to the Titanic Museum. Full breakfast available upon request and cereal and serve yourself toast, yogurt, orange juice, tea, and cheese make serve yourself a great option. You can watch the... More
