The Merchant is absolutely stunning hotel. From the minute we drove up for our valet parking, to showing us around the room & hotel, to leaving the next day, the staff couldn't do enough for us. They made us feel that although the hotel was full, we were the only ones of any importance! Worthy of every one of its... More

My mates and I decided to go to the Merchant for much needed TLC as we have been through the wars. It started swimmingly. We had a lovely snack. I adore Jazz and the band are fabulous. Just the pick-me-up I needed and I danced and twirled around every chance I got. Well done and thank you lads. We had... More

The wife and I decided to treat our selves to a night in the infamous Merchant Hotel. Being born and bred in Belfast the concept of staying in a Hotel in Belfast was a bit weird but having now done it I would do again but only if staying in the Merchant! The one thing that stood out for me... More

We stayed here last night, having got a good deal (which runs until next month). £100 each for overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. The concierge was most helpful, and generally all of the staff made our stay pleasant. A great break for the two of us.

My sister and I went here for Sunday lunch (a birthday treat). From the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty. Our lunch was amazing, beautiful food from a great selection. The chefs also gave us a couple of complimentary dishes which made it even more special. The pianist played happy birthday for my sister and she was given... More

This was a very quick stop over for me. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are excellent! Very attentive. We had lunch while here and found a great choice of food. Lot's of variety but not very healthy. The desserts looked amazing! Can be expensive but in a great location. Loved the decor! I would return!

I was here for a meeting/course and I have to comment on the lunch buffet. As it is not suitable nourishment for people who are here for a full day. Also does not cater for anyone with dietry requirements. I am happy that I did not have to pay for it as if I were I would certainly be looking elsewhere.

My partner and I recently stayed in the Merchant Hotel. It’s a very impressive looking hotel and our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was nice, despite asking for a soft egg on my Eggs Benedict but receiving a hardboiled egg. The cocktail bar is nice, but can work out expensive as the drinks are also subject... More

Have been in the Merchant before for drinks but this time we ventured in for a meal between Christmas and New Year. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have been in around the world and previously I would have been proud to extol its virtues to others as I do when being proud of where I am... More
