Maybe you prefer comfort and luxury, but if you're looking for a very cheap place to stay, this is it. Is a hostel, really, so the rooms are shared, but since I travelled with a group from my company the whole room was only for us. Actually, we got more than one room for us, so we basically filled half... More

Let's just say there are hostels and hostels! As a result of being unable to find a Guest House or B&B for a mid-week night in Belfast and needing to be in the Lisburn Rd area, for a very early morning meeting, I settled reluctantly for Paddy's Palace. You win some - you lose some. The positives - 1/ the... More

I chose this hostel because they operate a tour to the Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-rede bridge and Derry which is free if you stay at least 2 nights Sun-Thurs. The tour was excellent, a great way to see these attractions and I couldn't believe it was free! The staff were very helpful and friendly, though reception was unmanned a lot of... More

What could I say? Worst hostel I've ever been to. The men running this place are miserable, they can't bother answer your questions unless you are a cute girl if you know what I mean... Everything is falling apart, bulb broken, leak on roof on pretty much in each room you go to, no toilet paper, the sitting room is... More

The room wasn't clean (we won't discuss what was on the pillow), but the facilities were nice. We got a private bathroom, which was unexpected and nice. Pretty basic, no frills, but still a great value. Short (10-15 min.) walk from the Crown Bar and the heart of Belfast. Nothing special, just a great value place for a couple of... More

I only stayed for a few days, but had a ball. The facilities were more than adequate for a backpackers, and the staff were incredibly helpfull and quite happy to reccommend places to go out around town. Would not hesitate to stay there again, great atmosphere.

Best hostel I have stayed at in years. Staff were full of information and always willing to help out. They went above and beyond, showed us some great places to eat, and went out for a drink with us. Thanks JJ

I have stayed at a lot of hostels over the years (and some of them had their share of issues!) but this has to be the worst hostel I have EVER stayed in!! We booked a twin (bunk) room and had issues from the moment we arrived. Firstly the light was not working, so we had to find one of... More
