We stayed for one night for a friend's birthday. Place is cool, with the funky design malmaison has become known for. We also had some food in the bar, which was very good. The room was great: large, clean, stylish. Only one issue: it was astonishingly hot. Like, ridiculous. We opened all the windows, which helped a little, but not... More

Malmaison is now my favorite hotel chain. I loved the style, attention to details (great smelling soap!), everything was nice. Staff was very accommodating (we were traveling with kids and everyone was helpful). Great bar.

The hotel staff were lovely and very welcoming. Bar staff were also very attentive and made great cocktails. Upon entering room we had a musty smell present. Shower had water in basin.hair in towels and hair on pillow case too which was disappointing as we have stayed here before. Cleanliness for my wife and I is important

I have stayed recently in other Malmaison hotels and they were more organised than the Belfast hotel. I stayed recently for three nights on a golf trip to NI. Over the three days I observed very few senior members of staff and whilst everyone was polite and friendly their inexperience showed. The reception and bar staff staff were great, but... More

Was really looking forward to our stay here but was disappointed. The room was very small and badly lit. When we first entered the room, we noticed hand prints on the headboard...yuck! Cleaners had also left litter behind in the room. The price was too much for a room of that standard- I expected a better shower than one over... More

Stayed a night in this Belfast hotel and was very impressed. The reception staff were courteous on arrival. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and the bathroom well stocked with a great shower. It's a very trendy spot and although you will find cheaper accommodation elsewhere in the city... More

My friends and I stayed in Malmaison on 8th October as we were attending restaurant week. The hotel is grand typical Malmaison, but what was outstanding was Adam and Johnnie in the bar. Adam truly is interested in his customers. Wants you to enjoy his drinks. Asks lots of questions around what you like then recommends based on that and... More

We booked this in a sale on a travel website and it's a good job we did. I would have been gutted to pay full price. The room was nice, big bathroom with free toiletries, the bar was nice, the restaurant pricey and not really worth it. Good location though.

Called in for a pint as I like there HEINEKEN Smart Dispense system only to be told that the barman didn't know how to work it and that the "Heineken" guys were coming out in a couple of weeks to train them? Interesting story line as it has been in place as long as I can remember! Then challenged on... More

Stayed two nights. It is covered in drapes and net curtains you feel you need a torch to get around even in the daytime. That said room was excellent large clean and well decorated and cared for. The bathroom is very good clean and roomy except there is no shaving light either in the bathroom so you are shaving in... More
