Stayed for one night and was very convient to the catherdral quarter where must bars are so no need for a taxi. Also had food which was lovely and good atmosphere. The cocktails are a must to try also. The room itself was not a sbig as anticapted as had been in my friends room before heading out who had... more

I stayed last night and we had a noisy couple that were very audible doing you know what through the inter-connecting door, combined with a couple in the room overhead that had a squeaky bed! I am wrecked tired today and did not sleep well, also they did not have water in the rooms which always annoys me. Otherwise hotel... more

The Mal is an excellent boutique hotel, and offers a great alternative to the Hilton and other more 'corporate' locations in Belfast. Having stayed in Belfast hotels most weeks for over a year, it is the one venue I would recommend above all others. Rooms are good, with DVD players and good facilities. Food is generally good, although the menu... more

Well appointed room, everything worked! Comfortable bar and brasserie, good food, good service and good value. Centrally located and convenient for night life, sightseeing and shopping. more

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting my partners family so we oculd stay in Belfast overnight and visit a few of the cities many bars. We got the room on a special rate and were amazed by the rooms - it was fabulously plush! We didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast at the hotel as we like... more

We spent one night in Malmaison Belfast on our anniversary and will look forward to a return trip at some stage. I have to agree with most of what other reviewers have already written, both the good and the not so good. But I should point out that the not so good is probably beyond the control of the staff... more

We went to Belfast to see the Tall Ships Festival and stayed for a night in Malmaison. We got a great deal (room only) from the hotel website. We were just round the corner from the riverfront and the location was perfect for the Festival. We ate very well in the restaurant and we had a lovely room (although the... more

We celebrated our wedding night here and stayed in the Samson suite. The room was fabulous but the cost was way too much. Menus complicated, we had a package which included champagne breakfast ( 2 small glasses), breakfast menu wasn't clear, had prices for everything so we weren't aware if we needed to pay extra. No parking which makes it... more

Loved the hotel. It's at a great location near the shops in the city centre. Food is great (breakfast and dinner) and the service is very good. If there is anything anything slightly negative about this hotel, the rooms are a bit dark if you want to do any work in the evenings. I highly recommend this hotel. more
