We stayed in the Ramada Plaza after attending a wedding there. We had the same experience as a previous reviewer in that the room key card would not work. We had to go back to reception in order to get it rectified and was told to do the opposite to what the instructions on the card state, which worked when... More

I have just returned from an overnight stay at the Ramada with my family, as part of my son's 13th Birthday celebrations and we were treated like royality. When I checked-in it was 10.45 pm and I was given my room key card. You are supposed to put it in a slot just inside the door to enable power to the room. In this instance - nothing. I called down to reception and they took an age to bring a key to another room. How could housekeeping not... More

We had a lovely stay here. Having a family room towards the end of the corridor was perfect in case the children got lively. The hotel space was lovely. Breakfast was great. Buffet style really suits us. The room was very comfortable with ample bed space. We could have done with more bath towels as there were only 2 full... More

We stayed here for two nights on a weekend. Our first room was a little noisy due to loud guests in the next room and wedding guests celebrating and talking loudly in the hallway. When we told Donna at the front desk she immediately promised to change our room to a quieter one and she did. Our second night was... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2nights. It was ok. Room wasn't very clean with stains on the carpet and a pair of earrings from the last guest on one of the tables. The shower hose and fixtures fell off the wall in the bathroom! Bottled water in the fridge in the room was filled from the tap. No mini... More

Booked in very last minute due to family funeral. The Staff were excellent and really helpful. Due to very early morning flights and having to go straight to the funeral we were extremely tired when we finally booked in late afternoon. The reception staff displayed great customer service and couldnt do enough to ensure we were ok. We organised food... More

I have stayed here a number of times and it has improved over the years. Good rooms and services, Gym and pool good and staff friendly and helpful. Food not bad either!! Beds are pretty good and the rooms are a decent size. Good value for money. Be careful when leaving as the main road can be very busy!!
