This B&B is excellent - in particular the breakfasts are absolutely fantastic; the best I've ever had at a B&B. An amazing array of dishes that you order the night before - in particular the homemade bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and vegetarian dishes were brilliant. In general the attention to detail was fantastic - cooled water and milk were... More

We spent three nights here in March and whilst we could have opted for a city centre hotel, we chose The Old Rectory due to its proximity to Queens University and on Trip Advisor reviews. We weren't disappointed. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Mary could not have been more helpful, even making us delicious sandwiches and booking a taxi... More

I stayed on two occasions last year, and would highly recommend it to family and friends. It's in a very central location too. If I visit Belfast again in the future, I will be booking in here again. Thanks Gerry and family. Meadhbh

Whilst the location, room and breakfast couldn't be faulted what really set the Old Rectory apart throughout our stay was the level of hospitality. From the off, nothing was too much trouble and we felt Mary went out of her way to assist in providing information, in suggesting and arranging excursions and restaurants, and in generally making us welcome. As... More

Stayed in The Old Rectory, as we had a relative having Op in nearby Ulster Clinic, Hospitality was great, parking a big plus, room so homely and quaint, with all facilities, host's very friendly and accommodating, food good , would have liked to have been able to stay longer

Our arrival time was not the most convenient but did not phase these people at all. Rooms a delight to behold, such beautiful, antique furniture. We felt honoured to be trusted with such lovely gems. We had the most restful night in 10 whole days of B&B's. This was followed by the most sumptuous breakfast you could ask for, beautifully... More

I was in town for only five days for a conference, and wanted to stay somewhere I would be comfortable. I'm so glad I chose to stay here. Mary and Gerry are both so kind and helpful. The Old Rectory is a little outside of town, though not too long of a walk to the campus where the conference was... More

the place has a lot of character but manage to be neither stuffy nor overcrowded with antiques. All the amenities were very well functionning and we had a good bed. (not necesseraly a given and IMHO too often overlooked) The girls (16 & 17) loved their room too. The place is a bit outside, off a big road but very... More

This B & B was fantastic. Located out of town in a tasteful neighborhood. The decor was a mass of collectors items placed through out the house and all done in good taste. Our room was large and comfortable and done up in the Victorian style. The bathroom was luxurious. Mary and Gerry were the perfect hosts. They made dinner... More

I had a very comfortable three night stay at Old Rectory. Everything was perfect from bed & bedroom to breakfast and location. Great staff of course. Clean, warm & all one could want or need in a B&B. Easily booked, prompt replies to any queries.
