I had to spend two nights in Belfast for family reasons. I am more than familiar with this area of Belfast and would rate it as, as good as it gets for character etc. I found An Old Rectory via a Google search. An email to the proprietors ensured that they had a vacancy and a follow up phone call... More

We came to visit friends in Cork and took a road trip along the Wild Atlantic Way to Northern Ireland. Our friends made the booking and we were delighted with Mary and Gerry at Old Rectory. We had three rooms..a family room for my hubby, daughter and myself; a room for a couple and another for their adult son. All... More

This was the 4th and last B/B of our two week trip to Ireland and London. Even though the previous 3 were comfortable and welcoming, this stay was gracious and complete in every way. Gerry and Mary have been running The Old Rectory since the 90's and really it is more of a B/B hybrid. The facility is their home... More

Mary and Gerry are wonderful hosts. The breakfast menu is wonderful, we had our dinner in one night too. A lovely, intimate meal for myself and my partner. The Old Rectory is handily placed a short bus ride from the city and within easy walking distance to some great restaurants. Large comfortable rooms, overall a very good stay.

Only my second visit to Belfast and I wanted to to avoid a big hotel as I was travelling alone. Mary and Gerry were very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast choices every morning were great - would never have gone to that trouble at home! The room was comfortable with no noise travelling from other guests, which... More

Just returned from a four night stay in the Old Rectory. Hosts, Mary and Gerry, were great, couldn't have been more helpful. Could not fault the accommodation, lovely room etc. Breakfasts were fabulous, all cooked by Gerry, his porridge and compote best ever tasted! Loved the whole Irish experience, Belfast beautiful and vibrant city, and weather well could have been... More

We stayed 2 nights and have no complaints at all. The staff are very friendly and helpful, happy to recommend places to eat (even though they offer their own menu in the evenings) and go. It's a bit further from the centre than I was expecting, but still just a cheap cab-ride away. We'd definitley stay there again.

Mary and Jerry went way out of their way to be helpful, even when we arrived inconveniently late to check in. Very comfortable room and excellent food. ( Don't miss Jerry's home-made granola!) This B&B is not in the center of town; but taxis are pretty cheap and I think there is also convenient bus service. Mary kindly made dinner... More

Needed to visit Belfast to renew a Visa and The Old Rectory was recommended to me by a Colleague as he had stayed there when he went to renew hi Visa. Guest House was about 5 miles from Belfast City Airport and due to my flight time I had to wait a bit to check in but I was advised... More

We only stayed one night,in the malone room. Room was a good size and the owners were friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable, shower good and the breakfast was cracking. Granola followed by the full ulster set us up for the day.
