Mary and Jerry went way out of their way to be helpful, even when we arrived inconveniently late to check in. Very comfortable room and excellent food. ( Don't miss Jerry's home-made granola!) This B&B is not in the center of town; but taxis are pretty cheap and I think there is also convenient bus service. Mary kindly made dinner... More

Needed to visit Belfast to renew a Visa and The Old Rectory was recommended to me by a Colleague as he had stayed there when he went to renew hi Visa. Guest House was about 5 miles from Belfast City Airport and due to my flight time I had to wait a bit to check in but I was advised... More

We only stayed one night,in the malone room. Room was a good size and the owners were friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable, shower good and the breakfast was cracking. Granola followed by the full ulster set us up for the day.

Mary and Gerry are wonderful hosts at the Old Rectory. I was in Belfast for work for a busy few days and it was so relaxing to come back to the Old Rectory and really felt like a home away from home. Though situated off the busy Malone road, The Old Rectory is based in a beautiful quiet setting and... More

Probably the best place ive stayed.....worldwide! From the moment i called for a reservation the staff member was very polite and volunteered all sorts of information such as how to get a taxi from the airport, where the US consolate is and how to get there. When i arrived i explained to a gentleman that i booked for 2 nights... More

This B&B is excellent - in particular the breakfasts are absolutely fantastic; the best I've ever had at a B&B. An amazing array of dishes that you order the night before - in particular the homemade bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and vegetarian dishes were brilliant. In general the attention to detail was fantastic - cooled water and milk were... More

We spent three nights here in March and whilst we could have opted for a city centre hotel, we chose The Old Rectory due to its proximity to Queens University and on Trip Advisor reviews. We weren't disappointed. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Mary could not have been more helpful, even making us delicious sandwiches and booking a taxi... More

I stayed on two occasions last year, and would highly recommend it to family and friends. It's in a very central location too. If I visit Belfast again in the future, I will be booking in here again. Thanks Gerry and family. Meadhbh

Whilst the location, room and breakfast couldn't be faulted what really set the Old Rectory apart throughout our stay was the level of hospitality. From the off, nothing was too much trouble and we felt Mary went out of her way to assist in providing information, in suggesting and arranging excursions and restaurants, and in generally making us welcome. As... More

Stayed in The Old Rectory, as we had a relative having Op in nearby Ulster Clinic, Hospitality was great, parking a big plus, room so homely and quaint, with all facilities, host's very friendly and accommodating, food good , would have liked to have been able to stay longer
