Loved every minute of my stay with my sister and sister in law. So comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing and worth while getting up out of bed for after a late night in the CIty. Will be back and will be recommending to all my friends. Thank you to Mary, Gerry & The Team.

Easy to find, on a well serviced bus route, this BnB was a pleasure to stay at. We were well guided before arriving by timely emails on direction etc so easy to find. (Get in touch early if you want to drop bags before check in time after 4 pm.) We were not driving a car. Greeted happily on arrival,... More

We stayed at the Old Rectory as my son had a visa appointment at the US Consulate. The location for this was superb and only a ten minute walk. We arrived late at night and were warmly welcomed by the owner who kindly showed us to our room. Our room was on the top floor and had everything you could... More

The rooms were well furnished and clean and Mary's breakfast can be compared only to her warm welcome. She gave us some useful hints about some interesting places to visit during our holiday in Belfast and in the North Ireland too.

Very comfortable room. You select your breakfast the day/night before. Table with cereals, yogurt, fruit. You can have porridge, omelettes, ulster full breakfast, veggie options etc. You would not find a better cooked breakfast anywhere and it is included. Bus to town across the street and bus stop back right in front of the house. Hint take 8a back so... More

I stayed at the Old Rectory two nights this month. I really appreciate my holiday. Old rectory has beautiful rooms, it's close to the city town ( half an hour by foot and a few minutes by bus ). I really enjoyed the brakfast, it was absolutely fabulous!

Not often do you find B+B owners who get it just right. Everything about the Old Rectory says quality. Rooms are bright, beds really comfy, especially the pillows. Breakfast is as good as you will get anywhere, indeed given the fact it is all made from scratch it far outperforms most 5 star hotels. Owners are happy to help with... More

We arrived at The Old Rectory tired and weary from a long convoluted drive from Donegal. We called this guesthouse last minute-a recommendation from Paula at The Green Gate Guesthouse where we were staying in Ardara (another BnB not to miss!). Happily, they had accommodations and Mary (owner) was extremely helpful sorting out the details etc. The guesthouse is top... More

After a two night stay at the Belfast Hilton we checked out and luckily found this great B & B for our final night. The only information we had was a couple of lines write up in the freebie Belfast Guide. Listed as 'An Old Rectory' so first on the list, we rang not expecting to be able to get... More

My first trip to Ireland and Belfast was the beginning of the trip. I'm so glad I found Old Rectory. Mary and Gerry were wonderful. Mary gave me some great tips on what to do and where to eat. Mourne seafood was fantastic. My first day I arrived I was exhausted and Mary made sure that my room was ready... More
