I enjoyed my stay a lot! Got a 2bed dorm. Decent room. Small, but it was very well advertised that it was small, and it is actually the exact space you need. Clean, decent bathrooms. Just the shower that could be a bit better. Staff was very polite. The coffee place that is together with the hostel is amazing! I... More

You get what you pay for....not. The beds are dirty. The showers are mouldy. The toilet stinks and the room is like a prison cell. No carpets and awful wee blinds that do nothing for the abundance of light that shines through from the construction site view (how lovely). However, the staff are very friendly and the wee cafe has... More

A friend of mine told me after I told him where I had booked a place in Belfast: It does exactly what it is supposed to do - it gives you a place to sleep. Perfect description of this hostel. For our travel it was the worst place to stay. The location itself is fine, but the room was filthy,... More

This hostel is fine for the price you pay. The common areas and kitchen are good and well equipped. I saw travellers preparing full meals in the huge kitchen. If you don't want to prepare your own food the cafe is an option. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. I stayed in a private room, basic but adequate. Safe... More

We spend there with my boyfriend in a double room one week in the first half of the year 2014. The location of the hostel was good, it was near the centre of Belfast – a capital of Northern Ireland (310 000 inhabitants). But when you travel there by ferry you have to get to the hostel by a taxi... More

First things to complain about: WIFI didin't work in rooms and there were lot of young people who didn't care about the silence time, so don't forget to bring earplugs. I mean it! Walls were very thin and our room was next to an elevator and a stairway, it was really a mission impossible to sleep without earplugs and I... More

Hello Jhis Many thanks for taking the time to review our Belfast International Youth Hostel. Although the staff was very polite and helpful, the room that my boyfriend and I stayed in was filthy. There was gum and grime all over the carpet and the bathroom was unhygienic. The sink looked like it had never been cleaned. The sheets were clean but given the state of the rest of the room we didn't feel comfortable... More

Disturbed sleep on both nights stay. Lots of noise from the plumbing (taps are push down and make a loud thud when reset). This was heard from other rooms. Hi Spurto - thank you very much for your review of our Belfast International Youth Hostel. We went there for the weekend. It was the cheapest we could find. It is located in a very good neighbourhood.
