My boyfriend and I stayed at the hostel for 1 night. We arrived at around 8:00 PM, and were greeted at the reception by a rather rude and brash gentleman. We reserved a private room for 2 people and were given a very tiny room with only a bunk bed. There wasn’t a table or a chair or a closet... more

I've used the HINI Belfast hostel a couple of times in the last month, and plan to continue doing so for the foreseeable future (I'm a student in Belfast but based across the water). The hostel has a great location just off Bradbury Place, a major intersection at the top of Botanic Avenue and the 'Golden Mile' between the city... more

I stayed here for two nights with a group of friends, and had a pretty good experience. Most of the hostel has recently been refurbished, so the reception, café and ensuite rooms are looking rather snazzy and new at the moment. Unfortunately, we weren’t staying in an ensuite room, so we had to make do with the old décor. Our... more

Located towards Queens University in a relatively safe area. Takes little time to walk in to the city centre. Rooms are clean and basic, as you would expect. The hostel still feels pretty new as it was revamped a few years ago. Pay as you use internet access. The Causeway Cafe is particularly good value. more

Better than I expected. It's a 5min walk from the main bus/train station. The hostel looks new inside with lots of pine furniture. Rooms are clean and security is very good as doors and lifts require your room card swiped for access. I stayed in double ensuite room on 2nd floor - facing street so was bit noisy on the... more

Location was it was not too bad, close to the train/bus station, about a 10minute walk to the main city square.... The older guy on reception was a little grumpy, but we still managed to have a great time! brilliant new facilities, enough computers for being able to check the internet. beds and rooms were comfortable. Good that they have... more

We had a tiny room with bunk beds and shared bathroom, but expected that and price was reasonable in comparison to some other places. Room and bathroom was clean. Close to restaurants and takeways (lots of choice) and not too far to walk into city. Good secure parking. Reasonably friendly staff. more

Well, I've been to this hostel after reading reviews in this same page, and I haven't been disappointed. Rooms are simple but nice, the cafe downstairs is fantastic for breakfasts and take-away lunches and the staff is quite helpful. Any bad point? Well, sheets may be a little cleaner, and there's a pub opposite it where customers are rather rowdy-... more

Basic, yet comfortable. The youth hostel is at a very convenient location, not too far from the main Europa bus stand (15 min walking). Check-in was quick. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm room with attached bathroom. Beds were clean and so was bathroom. They have internet facitlity and breakfast in the mess (paid). The only problem that happened was... more
