Firstly I understand why previous reviews may not be great but we found our stay to be pleasant, and more importantly cost effective. If you are expecting a luxurious hotel then find a 5* somewhere else. If you are looking for something cheap and cheerful with a bit of quirkiness then this is the perfect place. The reason we felt... More

We stayed at Parkview Lodge in May 2014. First, on the plus side, the cost of our stay compared well with other choices in Belfast. The location was also good. The lodge is located across the street from The Waterworks, a large park and reservoir that provides very pleasant surroundings. No staff were available when we arrived, but an envelope... More

We had decided to stay in this b&b as I had an interview to go to in town. As soon as we arrived we rang the doorbell for a good 20 minutes trying to get someones attention and ended up calling the owner. He was not in and we had to wait for him outside. The garden had a lot... More

Avoid this hotel if possible. It is not upto standard...I myself had a miserable one night stay out here, would not recommend it to anyone. The rooms and furniture are old. Location is okay but better go in for another establishment in the same location.

Save your money I absolutely would not bother even considering booking to stay here. We booked to stay, were welcomed by a lady who we believe to be intoxicated and shown around a filth pit! The bed was squeeky beyond belief and the mattress was old and well used as well as the marks on the walls and sheets. Shocking... More

I have stayed here twice now. The second time I had no choice as we were literally stranded in Belfast for the night. The first night there was four of us (all girls). We were heading out for the night and were having a few drinks in one of our rooms beforehand. We were just chatting, in my opinion not... More

Where shall I start with this, perhaps with something positive. The room was clean. Now then. There are bare light bulbs all the way up the stairs. We got the room nr 6, right on the top. There is a shower in the room. It does not work. There are a lot of cables all over the room, through the... More

Stayed here for one night with 3 friends and booked 2 double rooms. The bnb is small and basic but our rooms were clean. Our bed was a bit squeaky but it was comfortable. The curtain at the window was a bit useless as I was awakened at 6am by blinding sunlight. So make sure you fall asleep not facing... More

I booked 2 double rooms ensuite for myself and my family for one night and to be honest right from the moment we walked in we knew this wasn't really a good place. to start with the stairs are very steep and the only ensuite rooms they have are the ones on the top and its difficult to get there... I stayed just the one night but the bed was so comfortable and there was a blackout blind on the window so I slept soundly all night. And the 11am check out is very convenient not to mention the metro bus from the city centre stops about five minutes away from the B and B itself.
