Excellent b&b in Belfast. It s located in a nice zone out of the centre (just 10' by bus N.7 or 30' on foot). Roger and Olive are very kind, the place is Lovely and clean and it was like sleeping at home :) Amazing breakfast! The perfect place!

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at Ravenhill Guesthouse and were very pleased. We were warmly greeted by Roger, who served us tea and cookies in front of the fire upon our arrival. It is a perfect location for visiting Belfast and surrounding region, with numerous excellent restaurants and pubs within a short walk. Our room, which overlooked... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at this B&B. It was surprisingly easy to find even when we had no idea where we were going as it was our first time in Belfast. The host was gracious and the house was warm and welcoming. We were recommended to a fantastic pub for dinner, within a 5 minute walk of the... More

We are so pleased we chose Ravenhill for our stay in Belfast. From the moment we arrived Roger made us welcome in his home and was more than happy to share his local knowledge. The breakfast is delicious with a good number of options from which to choose. The B&B is in a lovely area and very near good restaurants... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights on the top floor. The room was beautifully appointed with good natural light from a sky light and ample room for two. We particularly liked the complimentary cookies, tea and coffee. This B&B is in what seems like an affluent area of Belfast with its tree-lined streets and stately homes. However,... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Ravenhill House. We're pleased that you enjoyed the buzz of the Ormeau Road neighbourhood and you found it easy to access the city centre. It's also encouraging when our guests appreciate all the home made cereals, breads and preserves on offer at breakfast. We hope to welcome you again one day. More

I stayed here for 2 nights. My room with en suite bathroom was clean and spacious and had all amenities needed. The bathroom had modern facilities like a basin with a mixer tap. You don't find that very often. Unfortunately my room had the charme of a youth hostel room. The colours were all very beige and brown and made... More

Dear Kerstin, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay at Ravenhill House. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed your breakfast of granola, banana bread, fruit compote and a hot dish too, all home made. I am sorry that you felt the room did not have charm but to liken it to hostel accommodation... More

We had two nights here, when we arrived we were greeted with a lovely cup of coffee and homemade shortbread biscuits. Olive took time to talk to us about restaurant options close by and what our plans were coming up to advise on travel times, transport options etc. This was greatly appreciated. There was another couple of ladies checking in... More

This was our most expensive B&B type accommodation on a short break to Northern Ireland but it was in Belfast. There is plenty of parking space and we were able to keep our car at the guesthouse until our afternoon departure. The welcome is warm, friendly and considerate with Olive doing her best to explain different options for our stay... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we value your feedback. However, you chose to reserve 2 king size rooms for single occupancy on a busy weekend. We offer a... More

We had a hurried stay in Belfast and, as others have written, regret not being able to stay at Ravenhill longer. Olive and Roger obviously pay close attention to every detail so everything is perfect: comfort, cleanliness, ambiance and food. It's a model for what a B&B should be.

Ravenhill Guesthouse has been our favorite place to stay of several during our visit to the island of Ireland. What makes it exceptional is the gracious way that hosts Olive and Roger make their guests feel very welcome. They booked for us a great black taxi tour that picked us up at the house. They recommended a couple of very... More
