We had not booked and the restaurant was very busy, but that did not stop us from being seated quickly. We chose from their ser 3 course meal-soup or chicken wings, roast of the day-again 2 choice and lots of dessert options like cheesecake, pavlova and profiteroles.Food was served hot and quickly and plenty of it. I recently flew over to Belfast and decided to stay at the Balmoral hotel, First of all what I will say is if you're choosing to travel around belfast for whatever reasons via Taxi then use a company called BROOKE they appeared to be the cheapest by far! The hotel its self is dated definitely in need of a revamp,... More

Pros: Our room was spacious, hotel was very good, there was some wedding at the time we've stayed there, but we couldn't hear any noise in our room. Free parking and wi-fi in rooms. Cons: It's pretty far from the city centre - a bit more than 5 minutes drive as they say (5 miles)

Stayed her as a base while visiting Belfast. There was a wedding in the hotel both nights we were there but no noise could be heard from the bed rooms. Staff very friendly and the rooms comfortable and clean. Little outside the city. £10 in a taxi to Belfast town centre. Would return. Rooms good size and the bed is... More

Stayed recently on business, last minute booking . Easy access off the M1, easy parking. Okay this is not a grand hotel. Basic rooms, basic reception with basic attitude! Reflected in the cheap price Food was okay. This hotel did fine for one night away for work I.e. eat sleep and go, however I would not recommend to a family... More

This was an last minute for a very cheap price. Downstairs in lobby for drinks was really nice. Decoration was modern sand contemporary with a good atmosphere. However in such a modern setting I was very disappointed that cocktails were not served. Bedroom was very; small just enough space to walk through so I was glad that we were only... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a group for an over night stay. I found the rooms comfortable enough and roomy. I had no issues sleeping. The hotel was lively with function rooms in use and our party. Dinner was lovely and similarly breakfast.

Had a very nice meal here last week. Food was good and service wasn't too bad. Prices very reasonable and a nice place to eat if on a low budget. Handy access from M1 motorway. Close to town centre....

We have always been shown the warmest of hospitality here by Gabrielle in reception. The reason why some people may challenge the noise is solely on the fact of the Balmoral having done a fabulous job over and over again. They are accommodating to every level here, and we will continue to visit when in the North of Ireland.
