Had a great stay in the Beechlawn House Hotel, my second visit. Great Food. My hotel room was lovely, spacious and clean. On the down side The television is dated would have been better with. flat screen. Hope to stay again. The Hotel it self is in a good location. Near to the Lisburn Road in town or not far... More

The Beechlawn House Hotel seems to be very popular for functions. We were there over a weekend and most of the guests were attending weddings on the Saturday. Despite the functions our room was quiet clean and comfortable if a little dated. The breakfast was ok, though nothing special. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally... This is the second time I have been for a light lunch on a Saturday. The foyer was busy with two weddings which meant we spent most of the time raising our voices and straining to hear each other. We had toasties which met expectations, service was quick and Niamh our waitress was good enough to get us an extra... More

Can't comment on the hotel itself but we came here for a meal whilst visiting family in Belfast. It wasn't good. The roast dinner was poor for £12.50. Had much better for half the price. I had chefs special home made curry which I was really looking forward to but it wasn't nice and had a skin on top! My... More

After a very stressful day - having booked a room on Lastminute.com we arrived at our B & B to be told the room had been double booked. The landlady of the establishment had found us alternative accommodation - The Beechlawn House Hotel. Our first impression was that it looked nice. It is very old fashioned and the only member... Booked this hotel at the last minute as we needed to stay overnight in Belfast. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed at the room. We have previously stayed in the hotel but it was back in the 1990's and I think it's still stuck there!! The room was dull with pine furniture. The decor was tired and it had tiled ceilings... Best breakfast we've had in 3 weeks touring Ireland and Northern Ireland. Gluten free options generously catered for. Lovely coffee and excellent service at breakfast. Our stay was during a busy period, but staff were ever attentive and welcoming. This hotel is in a safe area just outside the center. Don't expect perfect - it's an old hotel (but the... More

Stayed here weekend in July when visiting Belfast for a family party. Had booked two rooms, one double and one twin. We got two doubles so needed to change one, which they did but told us we had a better room. No way, they admitted that they had given us a complementary upgrade to superior rooms but then they couldn't... More

Came to the Beechlawn for a working lunch. There were just two of us. I ordered the steak with chips and mushroom and brandy sauce and my colleague the scampi. My colleague reported the scampi as tasty. My steak was lovely but....... There was a steak, a bowl of chips and a sauce boat of sauce. When you placed it... More
