The lady who checked us in on arrival was very friendly. The room was not great but the worst thing about it was the bed.... it was broken and lumpy and the base was absolutely filthy and did not have a cover. the bathroom was also very dirty - behind the toilet (which you can see from the bath) was... I stayed here for 2 nights and found everything to be excellent. Checked in late at night due to delayed flight and the night porter was very friendly and checked me in no problems, I was happy to find the bar still open when I checked in and the bar staff were very nice. After reading the reviews I was... More

The room 107 was spacious but the bathroom needs updating the sink tap had greenish stains not shiny silver and had a smell coming from it couldn't tell from where as the room had been serviced, I presume pipes behind the wall/boards. The other down fall is one cant order take way from outside. Cooked... More

my son and I shared a twin room for five days and found it spotlessly clean. the cleaners came every day and kept it that way. We loved the Ulster fry grill breakfast and didn't need lunch. WE WOULD GO BACK AGAIN ANTTIME.

There's a lack of cleanliness throughout, which is more due to a lack of effort than damage or draining. Dirt has been allowed to build up, rather than give things a wipe over with some spray and a cloth after each guest has left. The TV remote was absolutely caked in grime, as was the telephone (which was broken. The... More

Arrived the first day for a couples holiday with my husband and my mum and her partner. Had stayed in Dublin the night before and loved the city. Met and greeted with a smile from two of the three girls/ ladies on the desk... If looks could kill the third would have wiped us out.. Rooms were clean and had... More

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The music from the bar could be heard in the rooms upstairs. It was very hard to sleep. The food was not great. I would not stay here again. I would rather pay more money to get a better hotel.

Clean, tidy, much cheaper than many others and good customer service but bed was uncomfortable and there was a DJ playing music until the early hours (stayed on a Friday night). Breakfast was fair and drinks in the bar were reasonably priced. Didn't try the restaurant as we found a good steak restaurant 5min walk up the hill. On a... More
