Have stayed here a number of times and again this weekend, it is a nice hotel, basic but good. The bar/resturant always has plenty of people about it. The rooms r nice and clean, good tv in the room. Good price. About 7 mins from the city centre in a taxi. Always have a good stay here.

My boyfriend and I stayed there Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November. I can safely say it was the worst hotel I've stayed in. We were put in room 212. The walls are so paper thin we were woken up Friday night by party goers returning to their rooms. They weren't excessively loud but we could hear every word... More

Staff were very helpful on arrival and once we got the room it was very clean though in need of updating, as for the nights sleep it was very noisy outside the room from the corridor (rooms... More

I admit I was a bit afraid to stay here after reading some questionable reviews about this hotel. Thankfully, I am not overly picky and I can appreciate a budget hotel when I stay in one. First thing is first, this hotel isn't located in the city center but rather walking distance to Belfast Castle. If you are looking for... More

Hadn't been to "The Lansdowne" for quite a while, so decided with a party to have an evening meal What can I say? The service was just ok, and the food, in my opinion, was sub-standard. Would I eat there again? I'm afraid not.

Stayed one night on a Saturday. The room was clean and more than reasonable for the price. The problem was there was a very noisy party going on downstairs. Loud music until after midnight, followed by drunk guests arguing loudly in the corridors. Might be a good idea if the hotel gave non partying guests rooms not directly over the... More

I did the unthinkable and booked this hotel for a work trip before checking reviews on this site. the photos are accurate and indeed I was in one of the rooms shown. This hotel is very tired - a comment made by another contributor regarding the springs from the bed sticking into you and stopping you sleeping is 100% accurate.... More
