This is possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. On checking in we were told our room is on the first floor and that a disco would take place downstairs so it would be noisy until 1am. An ideal preparation for an early morning exam. The room was dirty, smelly and in need of renovation. Staff weren't anything special... More

We'll I stayed three days in the hotel, the rooms where big and the bathroom was aswell. Has a great bar with live music it's fun. The breakfast was a bit mediocre because the three times I ordered an expresso it was awful, but apart from that it's all good.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Bathroom filthy. Asked for extra pillows. They don't have any. Had to get them from another room. Only enough for bedrooms they have. No heating in room. Freezing. Telephone doesn't work. Bathroom stinking. Beds as hard as rocks. Woeful. Lots of tlc required. Such a pity as this hotel has got great potential.... More

Possibly the most uncomfortable mattress I've slept on....quite firm, which I normally go for, but must be quite old as I could feel every spring poking through! Decor is quite dated too. Most positive thing is that the welcoming reception staff .On the whole clean but won't stay here again

We booked this hotel because it offered a family room at a reasonable price, together with free parking. This is a well maintained older property that does the job. Not in the centre of town, but close enough to access by public transit or road. The room was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. We would stay here again.

Stayed here last week for work, won't be staying there again. Staff were nice and food was ok, but my room was diabolical ! I complained that my room was freezing cold 4 times , and then they gave me 2 plug in heaters. The bathroom was rubbish , with cracked tiles and in ground dirt around the bath. The... More

The rooms and beds were not clean. The glasses and cups, even in the bar,had marks and prints. The location is convenient to reach the surroundings easily and the hotel offers a good carpark. The staff was friendly.

We stayed here for one week dirty filthy hotel - the only saving factor is the staff who are lovely and helpful. We were in 3 rooms due to the dirt and general scruffiness. The beds are old so old you feel the springs duvets are dirty and grey. There is no mattress or pillow protectors in place dirty walls... More
