Probably the best Tara has to offer. Located in the new wing at the end of the hall. A new and comfortable room on the top floor with an elevator. Arrive early and get one of the 8 spaces in the car park. Walk or take a taxi. Don't move your car. Street parking is a nightmare and we stayed... More

We stayed here for three nights midweek (Monday-Thursday). Check-in was simple and the receptionist was very helpful. She gave us a copy of Eat Belfast, which made choosing restaurants much easier! We were staying in the superior rooms and it was well worth it! Loads of space, really comfy beds and a great bathroom. The room was spotless, which is... More

The location of this hotel is great for visiting Belfast. It is a short walk (10 minutes) from the centre and well served by bus routes too. Our room was spacious with all the usual facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided variety and was served quickly and without fuss. The hotel's (small) car park is ideal as the... More

It is very rare to stay somewhere and not be able to fault anything about your stay. However, the Tara Lodge really was one of those places. Spotlessly clean, decorated without any areas of neglect, good location with a 10 minute walk to the city and a 5 minute stroll to Queens University. The staff were first class, just friendly... We were only in Ireland for a day and half, as we wanted to visit the Giant’s Causeway. The Tara Lodge was the perfect location between Dublin and Northern Ireland. We arrived around 12 pm and fortunately, our room was ready. The receptionist was kind, as she checked the hours of operation of the causeway. She even gave us tips... More

A small, intimate hotel with the focus upon friendly and helpful service, and good value. Nothing is too much for the staff. Room was spacey with a HUGE bed. Good location too, 5 mins walk from Ulster Museum, 10 mins from City Hall. Will stay there again.

We booked Tara Lodge based on the many positive reviews and were not disappointed. Nice, clean rooms, very friendly reception, nice breakfast but with somewhat limited choice. So not quite what we've expected based on the many praises. However, this is rather a high-end B&B than a hotel e.g. no bar or restaurant. Nothing wrong about that though. Location is... More

Dear Murgman Thanks for taking the time to post a review of your recent stay. I am so delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. Both our housekeeping and reception teams are so pleased that you recognised the clean rooms and friendly reception. The housekeepers work very hard to ensure the rooms are sparkling and the receptionists strive to... More

I arrived at just after 9am due to my flights and was able to check in with very helpful receptionist! Location was just what was required fifteen minute walk outside of he centre and was easy to find even late at night. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

We stayed here for two nights - a Saturday and Sunday. The first night was very hot and when we opened the windows all we could hear was trains, cars racing up the road and very noisy people. Reception kindly provided us with a fan so we could at least close the windows but there were two lads under our... More
