What a find! The desk clerks were friendly and helpful and arranged a wonderful taxi tour of the sectarian neighborhoods (heartbreaking but a must for anyone touring Belfast). Parking was tight, but again, Ricky helped us make it work. The beds are comfy, the bathroom and toiletries were GREAT, and breakfast was tasty and fast. The neighboring buildings all seem... more

The Positive: Friendly, helpful staff; excellent clean modern rooms; wonderful breakfast room; the cost is extremely good for Belfast; private parking is available. The negative: The neighborhood is adjacent to a college and a university. The street has a dodgy feel about it, not dangerous exactly but a bit edgy (lots of student housing, rentals, groups young people sitting on... more

We were thrilled with our stay. The front desk staff, breakfast staff, breakfast, our room, parking, location - all STELLAR. Great two nights in Belfast! more

Just back from two days staying at the Tara Lodge whilst doing some work at Queen's university (just a few minutes' walk away). The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent: freshly prepared fruit salad and really nice cooked food that came out of the kitchen very fast! Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and the full... more

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on a recent trip to Belfast after reading positive TripAdvisor reviews. It's situated about 15 minutes walk from the main City Centre which was fine for us, and gives it the bonus of free on-site car parking which is hard to find. The hotel is in a slightly rough student neighbourhood though... more

My daughter and I stayed for two nights. The room was great -- clean, well-appointed, modern. The location was within walking distance of many good restaurants and retail. Some people don't like the location because it is in university area, but several taxi drivers told us it is the safest area of the city. Great breakfast, too. more

Very easy to access the city centre from the hotel. The only downside being close to the university there was noise from the students during the night, but ask for a room at the back. Very well appointed bedroom, super bed linen, nice toiletries. Very pleasant and helpful staff. A good choice of breakfasts and every where exceptionally clean more

There is very little I can add to the complimentary comments that have already been made about this lovely little hotel. We specified a quiet room on our booking form and were given a super room overlooking the car park at the back. The room was immaculate and contained every facility one could wish for, including a safe for valuables... more
