We arrived at Tara Lodge quite early on Monday morning and expected to check in and put our bags in store until later, often you are made to feel a bit of a nuisance when arriving early at a hotel. This was not the case at Tara Lodge, big welcome from Pauline and her colleague on the front desk, lots... More

There isn't enough I can say about this Hotel that hasn't already been said! Tara Lodge is a hidden jewel! Parking is conveniently located behind the hotel. Upon entering you are welcomed with a smile and a friendly face! Rooms are super clean and quite large for European standards. Champagne and Chocolate Covered Strawberries were in our room waiting for... More

We only had a one night stay in Belfast so wanted to see and do all that we could in a very short time. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with directions to the local restaurants and attractions. They provided great suggestions for a good local restaurant and gave us recommendations for the best way to see the... More

Just spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel. Close to Queen's Universiy, Botanic Gardens, and the train. Ten minute walk to the Crown Bar, Europa Hotel Opera House. Modern facilities, superb hot and cold breakfast options. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Excellent value. Will stay here again!

I have stayed here now on many occasions and never had cause to complain. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are very well appointed, modern and clean, and the power porridge for breakfast is a must. This is an excellent Hotel and good value for money.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Tara Lodge, and from begining to end was an excellent stay. We arrived early on Thursday morning so we were able to leave our luggage with the hotel who locked it up for us, they also provided a map for us and marked it with some suggestions for places... I can't add much more than the other reviewers have - it's great, friendly, clean, comfortable and the breakfasts filled even my ever hungry 'children' (early 20s). It's about 15 to 20 minute walk to the city centre, ten minutes or so from the Botanic Gardens (well worth a visit and free), just around the corner from the Botanic railway... More

Just returned from a tour of Ireland and a 2 night stay at the Tara Lodge. We stayed at 4 places during the trip and this was our favorite place. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was immaculate. Breakfast was truly incredible. I always have trouble adjusting to the coffee difference in Europe, but the coffee here was... More

Went back to Ireland for a short stay and stayed at the Tara again. What can I say, we had a great time, the staff could not do enough for us, it did not matter what we asked for. The two gentlemen who waited on us at breakfast time are just the best you could ever want. I can only... More

This hotel really seems to understand customer service and the importance of the small touches. The staff were all excellent from the initial warm and helpful greeting at reception. The room was great - spacious, comfortable bed and the piece de resistance was the Nespresso machine in the room - much appreciated! Breakfast was delicious - well cooked porridge with... More
