Very good hotel, rooms are high standard and service friendly. Not the usual corporate beast which I liked. Breakfast was very good and I was happy staying there. Car park limited but all roads around we're free off road parking, nice area too, predominantly a student area of city walking around felt safe and relaxed after dark.

My family stayed in this hotel during our short stop at Belfast. Friendly staffs, affordable, and decent parking area. It was a quiet hotel strategically located in the downtown area. They particularly have a very big comfortable bed that can make "getting up" a particularly daunting task.

We stayed one night at Tara Lodge during our trip around Ireland, and it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was facing the back/parking lot but very quiet. Furnishings and bathrooms are modern and updated. Location is in a residential area but there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. There is... More

We enjoyed our stay at Tara Lodge while in Belfast. It's in the Botanic District with plenty of places to eat close by. The staff were very helpful with directions before we ventured into the heart of the city. Our room was perfect, comfortable and clean. With its reasonable price and excellent service, I would love to return to Tara... More

It is a cute little hotel near Queens University and Botanic Station. It is close to the city center. The first impression was very welcoming. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel was clean. The room was spacious although I would not have mind a bit more cupboard space. Breakfast was excellent and... We could not have been more pleased to stay at Tara Lodge in Belfast! Aside from the small car park, it was situated in an area similar to Lincoln Park in Chicago, filled with pubs, restaurants & cute shops. Our hostess could not have been more helpful with attractions to visit while there. Our room was clean and comfy with... More

We found the location of the hotel very convenient, a quiet street, a free car park, 15 minutes stroll to the city centre, with a huge choice of restaurants 5 minutes away. The room had a large bed, it was all very clean and comfortable. The best thing about Tara Lodge for us was the staff, in reception and at... More

I took my mum to Belfast as a birthday present. The Tara Lodge was recommended by my cousin who had spent some time there after her wedding. I can see why she raved about it. The hotel was easy to find (on foot and public transport) and was just lovely. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast amazing (loads of... More

I was surprised. The rooms were larger and more modern than expected. Breakfast was included. It was basic but nice. Sharon on reception was very friendly. Our room backed onto the railway but it was very quiet. It was a good 15 minutes walk out of the centre of Belfast which was the only downfall.
