The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the breakfast was delicious but the downside for me was that we were in a room at the front and it was very noisy as it was a Saturday night. There also wasn't enough parking to park in the hotel carpark so we had... More

Great place to stay. Well located in residential area in botanic quarter. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfasts not to be missed. Room very comfortable. Does not do evening meals but good selection of restaurants nearby. Train station (botanic quarter) 2 mins away if heading to titanic but it is a 15 min walk at the other end. Consider a... More

We spent two nights in Tara Lodge in the annex at the back. The room was faultless. Clean, warm, comfortable. Free bottled water and toiletries. All the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The porridge with Bushmills was really good and I don't drink whiskey. The waiter Colin was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location... More

Overall a great... More

Spent the weekend here for the second year in succession and it's still as brilliant. The breakfast's are amazing and the hotel is spotless but the best part are the staff. So friendly and charming and can't do enough to help and they have the most beautiful accents! We will be here again as we've fallen in love with Belfast,... More

Tara Lodge is approx 10-15 mins walk from the city centre and the bus station, and is also right next to the Botanic train station. There are many restaurants and takeaways at the end of the road, and the rooms have an extensive list of suggestions on where to eat and what kind of food each sells. They have also... More

Tara Lodge is close to Botanic train station in the Queen's University area. Its a handy location, with a direct line to Belfast City airport (12 mins) and the station at the Titanic exhibition (8 mins). The university area has a great vibe at the weekend and has lots of bars and cheap restaurants - and its only a 10-15... More
