On arrival we were welcomed by very friendly hosts. They gave us plenty of useful information on local places to eat and drink and all local things to do, they couldn't have been any more helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Good location not too far from the city... More

Thanks Alice & Stephen, our stay here was tremendous. The room was very comfortable & I still haven't had a better breakfast or cup of tea in Ireland than what you provided Alice! Your warmth & hospitality was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We will highly recommend you to anyone who asks & hope to stay with you... More

From the moment we stepped into Avenue Guesthouse we knew we had made the right choice to stay there! Our 6 night stay on the tree-lined Eglantine Avenue was wonderful in every way. Alice is the best host - she is attentive to your needs and is more than willing to help you make plans for the day (booking taxis,... More

Stayed at Avenue Guest House for a couple of nights with one of my friends and this place is faultless. Alice is an amazing host and her breakfasts are superb, not to mention the magnificent home made scones!! The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable and more than met our requirements. I can not speak highly enough of... More

Belfast is a marvelous city and Avenue Guest House is a marvelous place to stay in Belfast. Alice is lovely, kind and welcoming. Her rooms are thoughtfully considered with great toiletries (Taylor of London), tea making facilities, a refrigerator, comfortable beds and a lot of information about things to do and see in Belfast. She offers a selection of movies... More

This B&B is not far from the CBD (20 minute walk) and close to other conveniences such as the bus stop, a grocery store and other small shops plus a laundromat. Free street parking is available outside of the house. The Victorian style terrace has flights of stairs to negotiate to reach the bedrooms but Steve offers help with the... More

The Avenue Guest House proved an excellent choice for a two day visit to Belfast. The B&B owners are welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was comfortable and roomy. Best was its location close to the city centre in the leafy University district. The Ulster museum is within easy walking distance and the city bus tour leaves from the hotel across... More

Local buses into town were just down the road and it if you fancy a walk it's only approx 20 mins in to city... More

This is my third review of the Avenue Guest House: each time I stay here I am so struck by the aptness of the conveniences which Alice and Stephen thoughtfully provide for the traveller. Each room (we've been in several by now) is furnished with many electrical sockets placed just right for charging several electronic devices simultaneously - with an... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the Avenue Guest House in June of 2014. Hosts Alice and Steve were most congenial and ever so helpful! I would recommend the Avenue Guest House with no problem - very clean and comfortable. Fridge in the room is a definite bonus, along with a kettle to make tea or coffee - and chocolates!... More
