There was no cozy guest or B&B feeling at Pearlcourt. Rooms were tiny, rundown, shower was either too hot or too cold. Arrived and rather than giving us a welcome it was here are your keys. Bed was worn, room had no window, but heat was cranked up and we had to ask for it to be turned down, repeatedly.... More

We arrived here for a mistake, as the hostel where we were actually supposed to be made a mess with our booking and upgraded us to here. Clean guesthouse, warm people and very good continental/englisj breakfast. Highly recommended! More

I read a few of the complaints on here. It really does show that you really can't please everyone. You really do wonder where some people get their expectations from. My Girlfriend and I stayed in the Pearl court for two nights in September 2011 to see a gig in Belfast and to do some sightseeing. We had booked a... More

We very much enjoyed our visit to the Pearl Court on the Malone Rd, Belfast; lovely people, and really well located for Queen's University and the museum. There is a bus stop right outside the door. More

To take the negatives first - yes, it is an old building, and that means lots of stairs and rather feeble water pressure on the upper floors. OTOH, it is characterful, clean, convenient for the University area (and downtown generally) and reasonably priced. The breakfast is fresh and varied and offers more than you might expect from the description 'continental':... More

We picked this guesthouse from its website and were not disappointed. It is clean, friendly and quiet. Its location is perfect for the area of 'Queens' which includes Queens University, The Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars available nearby and access to the city is easy either on foot or by bus. The... More

Arrived on a Sunday to a twin room when I booked a double bed room. Promised to be put into my double the next day. When I entered the double room it looked clean enough but after entering the en suite I found the shower cubicle full of black mould not just in the corners but up the tiles as... More

We stayed 2 nights at Pearl Court so we could attend a wedding in Belfast. The room was light and spacious with more than enough furniture, although the en-suite shower/WC room was a little tired. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The home-made bread was especially tasty. Staff were friendly and welcoming, which was important for a first... More

Great location opposite Botanic Gardens and next to Queens University, near to Belfast Islamic Centre and several pubs! It is 2 houses beside each other. I stayed in Number 13 at a room on the first floor. Not busy so I had a fully fitted kitchen and TV room with cable to myself! Showers not great so it is 9/10. More

Asked for a twin room and when we arrived received a double bed and a day bed. Staff helpful and said we could change to a proper twin room but it was another two floors up. A very exhausting 59 stairs to the top and the guest house had no lift. Beds clean and tidy but quite dusty around lower... More
