I stayed 1 night b&b in a single room for £31. It is about 1 miles from city centre in a pleasant residential street. Has small car park down a very narrow driveway. Room has small tv and washbasin. Toilet and bathroom shared with other rooms Good points: 1. Very cheap for excellent location just south of city centre in... more

I stayed at the Windermere in 2008. I was in Belfast for 1 week - this was the WORST place we stayed! The rooms did not feel clean, the shower did not work (I ended up taking a styrafoam cup and splashing myself with the freezing cold water from the shower). I don't think that I am a picky traveler... more

I stayed at Windermere Guest House for 3 nights in January and found it to be clean, comfortable and the staff to be helpful and friendly. The choice of food for breakfast was great. I will be booking to stay again next time I travel to Belfast. more

Excellent. I've been here many times. Its central, in a quiet area near many amenities. Staff are soooooo welcoming, even to a wee Southerner. Lol. ;) more

Picked Windermere Guest House from Rick Steve's 2008 Great Britain travel guide, but clearly, he and his people haven't been there recently. They must have fallen on hard times, because the first thing we saw when we walked in was that a quarter of the ceiling in the sitting room had fallen down and hadn't bee replaced! The carpets were... more

The place was shabby, dirty, neglected and very uncomfortable. My bed was jammed against 3 walls and was horribly uncomfortable. You could actually see the springs sticking up. I had to sleep on the duvet to have any comfort at all. One of my pillows was shockingly lumpy and I could'nt find any one to ask for another. The decor was awful,... more
