Let's face it HIE is good value,basic hotel yes it's very clean and the room are good standard with excellent power shower in the room. Stayed at this hotel with family and could not fault anything. Clean comfortable rooms, quiet and peaceful despite the hotel being very busy. Breakfast buffet was a good standard with plenty of choices. Staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous despite being very very busy. Free secure parking was an added bonus. Would definately stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed Friday to Monday for a sporting event at Queens University we thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of this hotel. We stayed here the night before catching the ferry over to Scotland. Very convenient and the staff very friendly. Like most hotels I'm finding in the UK, I just wish they would use American size queen or king beds.
