we stayed overnight in this hotel and were pleasantly surprised. the room was very well presented and cleanliness was to the highest standard. if we were to be overly picky the pillows being a very large feather pillow i found them to be too soft and unmanageable, an option of a standard pillow in the room would have been welcome.... Just been to a wedding in the Stormont hotel ....food was beautiful..piping hot and plenty of it...had I been for a meal alone I would happily have paid for it...service was quick and staff professional. Other guests I spoke to were of the same opinion and all agreed that the roast beef main was delicious. The room itself was beautifully... More

Near the parliament building in Northern Ireland, elegant modern hotel, nice lobby area with chairs to sit, fireplace, hotel bar nearby. Nice 2 level restaurant attached with conservatory style bottom level. They advertised the quality of the mattress and it was as good as they said. Location is away from city center leading to more quiet. Not a resort but... More

Worked at the nearby Parliament Building when the world was considerably younger and haven't been back in the immediate area since. Paid a small premium for an executive room and found that we were upgraded to the Harland Suite. I have stayed in at least 1,000 hotels, including some of the most famous and the only time I can think... More

I have just spent 3 nights at the Stormont Hotel to celebrate the retirement of my sister-in-law. We were really delighted with the luxury that the hotel offers and it is situated in the leafy suburbs of Belfast opposite the Stormont Houses of Parliament, which is a stunning building. The bedrooms are very well appointed and decorated to a high... More

I stayed here on a busy Friday whilst my husband attended a golf day nearby & later both attended the evening function. Arriving early they were able to check me in which was very helpful. The room was roomy & bright ,if a little cold ,due to the large windows having been left open. Normally I find hotel rooms overly... More

This place is very clean and very comfortable. I can't really speak to the value, because we're here on a tour. The rooms are modern and updated with fluffy pillows. The only gripes I have are the location, it's really far away from town, and the food wasn't great. Granted we are a tour group, so we don't get the... More

Date of visit 18th August, reason for visit, a business meeting. Before I start this review I would like to say that I tried to call Norman M (now ex general manager) but after holding for 7min 36sec I gave up, so now I will share my experience with Tripadvisor. Well located hotel slightly out of town. Very friendly and professional staff, good breakfast, clean and very good sized rooms and bathrooms. Our request for a quiet room away from the lifts was met and we enjoyed our stay here.

Thank you to Cherry Panahon, not because she is a Filipina like us, but she really did an extra mile. We were served to a sumptuous meal, ensuring we enjoyed our last few days touring Ireland, told her we have been basically served almost the same food in our more than ten days in Ireland, and she sure did made up...
