This hotel is an icon for another era, as an IRA target during the Troubles. Its now a posh and busy nexus of bustling Belfast, at the edge of the commercial and shopping district. The various renovations have taken the basic building as far as it can go, with elevator capacity for instance at the limit. My room was on... More

Stayed here for 7 nights, March 2013. Very friendly staff, booked via a discount site, still had a great room at the front of the hotel. Very comfortable bed. Good size room. Terrific breakfasts. Booked a number of other rooms during the week for other people coming in for a night at a time... very helpful front desk staff. Hotel... More

My husband & I stayed at the Europa for 4 nights. We had booked a standard room and were very pleased to be given a free upgrade (which we did not request). Andy (don't know his last name or position) at Reception was very helpful and friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable... More

A group of very excitable girls arrived on Saturday afternoon for a friends special birthday celebration. We were spoilt on arrival by Veronica and Frank with a lovely glass of champers. This was followed by tea & coffee and the most amazing array of dainty sandwiches & pastries you have ever seen. Don't be fooled by the name afternoon tea,... More

This 40-year old hotel stands near city hall on one of the busiest streets in Belfast. The lobby is modern and the staff very helpful. A bar for the public is on the ground floor and a lounge with full bar for guests one floor above. The rooms are average size for a downtown hotel, with a choice of twin,... More

I stayed at the Europa in Belfast for a week while on business. The room was comfortable, but none of the linen was changed for a week and the bed was dressed over. One morning I dropped a tablet and found it on the floor at night, indicating that the room was not vacummed. The breakfast was good with reasonable... More
