This hotel's excellent location is a given....that's what you're paying the bigger bucks for. The room itself was pretty basic and London small which surprised me. I had an evening meal in the hotel and went for their top drawer steak...bit of a flop in that it was hard work to get thru and wasn't anything special as steaks go.... More

Really was a shame we didn't have the time to spend more time in Belfast during our Most Excellent Irish adventure, but I have to say that out of the 8 hotels we stayed at during our 3 week trip, the Europa by far, provided the highest level of guest service, room quality, food quality and overall just a fantastic... This is the first time I have stayed in the Europa, I usually stay in the Fitzwilliam. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are pleasant enough, but you hear absolutely everything from the people in the rooms next door to a strange clicking / thumping sound which I can only think is the lift in action. I was... More

We stayed in the Europa last Sunday as a treat for our wedding anniversary. The hotel has had lots of work done recently and it shows. Large reception area welcomes you to the hotel and the staff on reception were lovely. The staff on the desk obviously had a note on the system to say it was our anniversary and... More

Stayed here on business. The hotel is excellent and the quality of the rooms and especially the beds is great. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Only slight issue is that the lifts can take a while to arrive at your floor or at reception.

Following yet another stay at our favourite Belfast Hotel, the Europa, I feel I must share with you our experience. With its super central location it is perfect for a little city break. There were 6 of us who stayed and the rooms, as always were perfect, the staff friendly and professional and the food excellent. However I must point... More

We went for afternoon tea....very disappointing. They had "just finished" and our waitress had NO suggestions on what to order instead, knew nothing about the teas, anything about scones and every time we asked her something, she said she "really didn't know, I just work here on weekends" as though that was an excuse for poor training. Thankfully the manager... More

Hotel next door to bus and rail station within 10 minutes walk to shopping centre. Rooms comfortable - stayed on 11th floor. Around 30 mins from Belfast International £31 taxi fare (when little traffic) - not sure how long if travelling in rush hour. Staff welcoming - Piano bar comfy and can sit leisurely without pressure to move. Also food... More
