I have jsut pent 3 days playing in a chess tournament in the Europa Hotel in the centre of Belfast. The location of the hotel is excellent, right across the road from probably the most famous bar in Belfast - the Crown and 1 minute walk to the city centre. The facilities in the hotel were excellent, the staff were... More

I stayed at the Europa late August 2014. The room was on the 9th floor and was quite good. Nice comfortable bed, very clean room, free wifi, acceptable bathroom. The Bathroom is a question mark in my book. The shower controls took a little figuring since I didn't see them at first. The tub is a high sided tub which... More

My mother, sister and I went to the Europa for afternoon tea. This was the 2nd time I had been and I was not disappointed!! My first visit was made very special, I even received a complimentary desert as I was celebrating my birthday so I was really looking forward to going back. The food was lovely and service was... This hotel is rated by most rating systems as a 4 to 5 star hotel. While the hotel was centrally located, within walking distance to shopping/bars/theater, I would not consider this a 4-5 star hotel. It's appearance from the outside and in the lobby was quite appealing I must say. We arrived earlier than check in time and they were... More

There is 2 parts to this review, the very good and the bad. When we arrived at the Europa we were warmly greeted by Josh at reception. Josh is a credit to the Europa. We were in a room on the 10th floor and what a room it was. Big large bathroom, wonderfully large room with one of the most... More

We spent a month touring the Republic & Northern Ireland, first with a group often in 5-star hotels like the Conrad in Dublin and the Hilton in Belfast, then on our own. When we found we needed another night in Belfast before we caught the ferry to Liverpool, we decided to try the Europa. Everyone said "it's the most bombed... More

Stayed in a junior suite in the Europa last Saturday. The room was fantastic as were the staff ,very welcoming and friendly.Every element of our stay was very professional and of course its central location is very handy for the many fantastic bars and restaurants in the city centre I would highly recommend a stay in this landmark hotel.

Standard room was cramped and had no toilet paper. Disappointing first impression. Paid for upgrade to executive room although more spacious bathroom was not clean. Great bed though and slept well but won't be back. Not the hotel of my memories. Check out the Hilton executive instead.

My husband and I stayed for his birthday and from the moment we walked through the door we were treated so kindly. The staff are what really make this a great hotel they are all so friendly and go out of their way to help with anything asked of them. We were upgraded to a better room free of charge... More

Stayed here on a cold Summers Night last week. Had a lovely Dinner in the cozy Downstairs Restaurant with my fiancée. This was excellent all round. Service was top notch and food was out of this world. I had the knife and fork ribs and Salmon main. Didn't want to share. After enjoying dinner we went to the piano bar... More
