Highly recommended. Not too far of a walk from the city center, and pretty easy to find. Showers and bathrooms are wonderful, as are the rooms. The real winner is the staff, however. William let me check in really early (I think it was only 10 in the morning), then he gave me a map of Belfast and told me... More

I spent a total of three nights at lagan backpackers. It is by far the best hostel in North Ireland. In fact, I dare say it is one of the best hostels I have stayed in ever! Booking includes english breakfast and all of the necessities, including travel advice, trip planning help, and good conversation?? Amazing! BBQ every night makes... More

I stayed here with three girlfriends in the downstairs 4bedroom next to the kitchen. It was smallish but the beds were good and sturdy. There was a pub crawl the night we visited which was a bit of a laugh as the host had only been in Belfast a week or something. In the morning we were able to choose... More

Hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Great location, clean and safe, comfy beds, spacious bathrooms, free delicious cooked breakfast, free wifi. But the best thing about this hostel is definitely the owner William and his staff. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and create a fantastic atmosphere. William usually does a... The staff were very helpful in pointing out all the best places to go in Belfast and instantly welcomed me with a drink and some food from the BBQ. William does a great job to be friendly and help everyone enjoy themselves. I had a very comfortable private room with WiFi. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great hostel to stay in.There is a reason why the reviews on Hostelworld are so complimentary. The staff were very friendly and accomodating to our needs. The owner William let us check into the room to get settled before paying. I have stayed in a lot of hostels in Europe and have never been greeted like this.... More

ou were removed from the hostel by the police. You can keep posting on here weekly. No real backpacker reads this site anyways. Eventually you need to take responsibility for your intoxicated action. If your group cant behave i have no option but to call the police. Unlike the untruth about you contacting the police! More

I loved my stay at Lagan Backpackers. The owner, William is a great guy who takes time to get to know those who stay in the hostel and goes out of his way to bring them together with bbqs on the patio. Thanks to his hard work, there is a great community feel here and I felt very welcomed and... More
