The hostel is close to the botanical gardens and Ulster museum. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast is great! You chose from 5 options, I recommend the English breakfast, and they serve you. The kitchen is small though so it can be hard to get a seat. Coffee and tea is free all day, self serve in the... By far and away the best hostel Ive stayed in, from a solo travellers point of view. Within two hours of arriving, i was sitting down for a nightly common dinner with fellow guests and staff, and felt right at home. From Steve and Tomaidh?s amazing free pub crawl, to the always friendly smiling faces behind the desk at reception,... More

Lovely staff, great customer service, comfy and clean beds and tasty FREE full english breakfast (you can choose breakfast from menu and they're bringing it to you!). Bathrooms could be cleaner but in the end I'm very happy that I stayed in this hostel. Very highly recommended!

There's a different atmosphere in that Hostel. You feel like you are with friends...First, because the staffs were really friendly and the other costumers were so able to meet new friends and chat all the time. The staffs helped me all the time giving me tips about the city and tours in the countryside. The room was clean and confortable... More

The hostel is a bit tight in the space, the rooms are small but neat. Toilets a bit less, but still, there was all we needed, and there were plenty of them. We had breakfast that was plain and simple but given the price, is fine. I'm sure there are better places but this one is ok, too. The staff... More

Stayed here 3 nights and can't really fault it. Staff were all so lovely and helpful, they recommended tours and things for me to see as it was my first time visiting Belfast, also booked through them, no hassle at all. Free cooked breakfast, tea and coffee they bring it to you and wash up after. Prime location as you... More

I stayed 3 nights at Lagan's, the staff were mostly friendly though some appeared to lack any training. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, the mattresses well past their used by date. The hot breakfast was ok, nothing special though. Location is a little bit far out but nice and quiet at night. While it's pretty cheap, I probably won't stay... More
