I had stayed here before the view is idyliic and the surrondings are really beutiful!! The hotel is old and runned down but I tried to overlook this, but the owners of the establishment simply do not want people to enjoy themselves, they want no noise at all and I dont mean disturbing others, I mean a drink and a... more

Characterless hotel in breathtaking setting. Rooms OK but a bit tired and not very clean however the view was wonderful. Staff unhelpful and the lady on reception was particularly rude when I asked her to destroy or return the piece of paper on which she had written my credit card details, name and full address!!! The food was terrible nothing... more

After having taken my credit card details and telling me we had a superior room with sea views, the reception staff told me they didn't want my parner and I to stay as we were planning on going to a wedding during our four night stay. They told me that they; "were sure it wouldn't be us" but if we... more

Having visited this hotel before, pleased to see that money and time has been spent in improving the internal appearance of the hotel. Were there for Valentine's night and have to say the management had gone to some trouble to present a pleasant evening.BUT quite the worst mattress, we've had the misfortune to sleep, sorry NOT sleep upon! Managemnt informed,... more

I booked this hotel for the Valentine's weekend and then read all the reviews on this site and was really worried that I might have made a mistake. In actual fact we had a fantastic time. We paid £10 extra to stay in one of the two 'superior rooms' and though not flashy it was nice, clean and it seemed... more

Here you will find one of the best views in South Wales coupled with the worst Hotel. I went there with my Wife and friends for a meal on New Years Day. Never again!!..Expect to pay nearly £7 for a burger and an additional £2.50 if you want chips with it. The Burger was disgusting and I assume came from... more

I know there have been a few negative comments about this hotel but you need to put it in perspective. Its 2 star and cheap and you get what you paid for. The staff are friendly and yes it does need some renovation in parts but I understand that it will be closing for two weeks in Jan to do... more

The mattress was probably the thinnest and most uncomfortable I've ever had the misfortune to sleep on and the duvet was made of something that had way too much mass for something so thin. The view from the room was excellent and is not doubt even better when the windows are clean. Breakfast was poor largely down to the quality... more

The only thing going for this place is the view which, in my opinion, is the one thing the hotel relies on. There's no doubt the location and view are one of the best in Wales, and perhaps the UK as a whole. The Hotel suffers from a severe lack of investment. The room I had was tired and lacked... more
