Very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. A good location if you are driving to Swansea. South facing rooms are quieter and have view of the docks and Swansea Bay. more

We normally stay at the Marriott hotel on the Swansea Marina, but this trip we were put off by poor language skills at their call centre, so we tried the Ibis instead. For an overnight stay in Swansea, the Ibis is excellent. It is situated before Swansea centre, so the traffic there does not need to be negotiated. The hotel... more

The Ibis is located a little out of Swansea but within easy walking distance (20 mins) to the centre of town (or Wine Street which is where the majority of bars, restaurants and clubs are found). The rooms were decent sized and clean, and the bathrooms were decent. Everything was a little worn around the edges but that didn't really... more

I often stay here with work. If you need a good night's sleep and you are a light sleeper, ensure you state this, as many of the rooms back on to the busy main route into Swansea. The breakfast is pretty poor and it is a short taxi ride into town. There are other handier spots in town, but if... more

I recently spent one night at the Ibis for a business trip as I could not get into the Village Hotel. The staff are friendly but my room was disgusting. I initially thought the mould in the shower were bugs but no, just real fur growing. The floor was stained, the settee was stained, dirt and dust gathered in corners... more

My wife and I have just returned from a 2night break, 1night spent in the Ibis at Swansea, and the 2nd night spent at a Premier Inn in another town. The Ibis cost £40 excluding breakfast and evening meal, ( both available in this hotel ). Breakfast £5.50 continental , as much as you want. Rooms clean, modern and spacious.... more

Stayed here on a Saturday night as we traveled to Swansea for a friend's birthday and we needed a place to rest our heads. We arrived at the hotel 1 hour before check in expecting the room not to be ready but reception were very helpful and checked us in straight away. The room was clean although a little bit... more

After staying in the Ibis in Cardiff (v clean, centrally located), we booked to stay here last weekend and were extremely disappointed. We booked a smoking room which was a huge mistake, the room stank of 5000 stale cigarettes. We are both smokers, but neither of us could stand the smell as it was just awfull. We called reception to... more

Stayed here on the date mentioned. Cost £51, pretty nice really. The hotel was pretty empty and so I was given a room right on the ground floor opposite Texaco fuel station which was annoying. It was a nice enough room though and much better than a Travelodge or Premier Inn as it's only £51 and you get a bar... more
