We had a wonderful stay here, the room was spacious and had a lovely addition of a bath in the corner of the room. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, we will come back. Thank you very much.

I'm writing this review without having read any others as this hotel was actually chosen by someone else for a last minute family celebration. It's described on Laterooms as a 'country house hotel and spa' which is a bit wide of the mark! The positives: Lovely setting, well off the main road with an old church and a ford virtually... More

I am really sorry you have had such a poor experience at our hotel. We took over the hotel after your stay, on Monday November 7th. Prior to this the hotel had been in administration. I soon became aware of the issues with the annexe rooms and we are no longer taking bookings for these rooms. We are going to... More

We stayed hear for a two night break. The hotel is located by the Bishopston area of Swansea. When we pulled up it looked ok but nothing special. The overall feel of the hotel is more of a large B & B, clean but dated. Staff friendly, breakfast ok but again nothing outstanding. Room had twin beds (with Kitchen worktop... More

We booked this hotel late and had a lovely surprise when we arrived and were upgraded to the room with the jacuzzi!! The room was lovely, bed was really comfortable and it felt like you were staying in seperate holiday chalets. It was very peaceful and private and the staff were lovely........the one man on reception spent an hour going... More

We stayed for a 2night break, location is good for visitning the Gower, but not close enough to walk anywhere from there. There is no swimming pool now, which is one of the reasons we picked this place, and new owners are in the process of taking over. The food was good and the staff all very friendly. Our room... More

We had excellent service as soon as we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean but does need a little bit of updating but the mattresses were very comfortable and slept like a log! The location was ideal for us, we wanted to visit the surrounding areas, you obviously need a car to do this. The... More

I am bemused by the bad reviews on here! We stayed for two nights in August 11, and really enjoyed ourselves. On check in we were taken round by Alex to see where the breakfast room, bar & dining rooms were, and then shown to our room. You don't get this service everywhere! Our room was comfortable, with a good... More

Having read the tripadvisor reviews with amusement and thought this was not going to be a marvallous hotel based on the harsh criticism it received, we decided to hope that Winston's Hotel had got the brunt of people's bad moods and booked anyway. Re-reading them now is just plain funny! OK... so admittedly it's not the Ritz - but then... More

We booked for two nights to celebrate a birthday. The internet rather inflates the facilities though: the whole place needed a bit of TLC [broken front doorwhich I tripped on, and old washing lines next to the car park didn't instill enthusiasm on our arrival.] The staff were helpful and always friendly. We had the executive room with the jacuzzi... More
