Stayed one night and found the reception staff excellent, room was spacious, bed v comfy and bathroom huge! Breakfast was also good. Not buffet hot food but serviced which is a plus for us. Parking was also very easy in their own car park. All rooms are individual and named after ships we stayed in the Ambassador. Would recommend.

Stayed at Morgans hotel Thursday night, a little bit pricey but well worth it. We had a room in the main building which was lovely but the room had a few issues as a permanent resident had checked out for the weekend, the cleaning staff had left some of his stuff in the room, couple of bottles of half drunk... Great building converted from old Harbour Shipping offices, now a very comfortable hotel. Room was generous size but more importantly for me, we had a room with a large walk-in shower - this is a hotel that really understands what is meant by an accessible room. The main entrance has steps, but a side entrance has a ramped access. As... More

Stayed for a couple of nights with my daughters we had two rooms. We were in Swansea for a family funeral so a very emotional stay for us. I just wanted say how wonderful the staff were, nothing was too much trouble for them. They looked after us and even upgraded us too a suite when we said that we... More

Had we been left in our allocated room this would probably have been a 1star revue, however! The allocated room was so small you could barely move around in it, also at 4.00pm it wasn't ready for us. We asked the reception If they had anything else available, and without any prompting they upgraded us to a suite, and offered... More

Lovely staff and for a short stay in Swansea, this place is definitely worth considering if you can get a decent rate. Has a lot more character than the other options in town (Holiday Inn, Marriott, etc) but unfortunately also has a bit of a tatty feel to it. I stayed in the building across from the main hotel (more... More

We set out to explore the Gower. We originally looked for places to stay in the Gower but were disappointed with the reviews we read about them in TripAdvisor. We plumped for Morgans in Swansea as our base and never looked back! In a previous existence, this was the Harbour Board Offices and it retains a rather grand appearance. They... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a night in August in the town house which is across the road from the main hotel. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed although room service wasn't available as we were not in the main hotel. The bed was really comfy and the room was quiet and had air conditioning... More

Served in the bar area, we had a table ready on our arrival, white tablecloth and napkins. Party of 9. 7 adults had the £9.95 afternoon tea and 2 children had children's meals. Presentation of food lovely all on white vintage style tiered cake plates. We had a variety of sandwiches all were lovely, choice of white or brown bread.... More

Stayed overnight in the Townhouse. We were upgraded to the top floor room, eagle. This was a lovely room, with a wow factor shower and bathroom. Felt really pampered with high quality toiletries and bathrobes. Room had everything, including mini bar and refreshment tray. The staff at this hotel are first class, really efficient and friendly, they gave the impression... More
