the bedroom we stayed in was in desperate need of tlc, the bathroom door does not close all it needs the screws on the hinges tightening, bath panel split, bathroom smelt think it was from the drains which in turn made the rest of the room smell as the door would not close. The furniture in the bedroom is very... more

What a wonderful place the rooms are refurbished with fantastic 70's kitsch but has the mod cons like free view, but it's cool enough to sleep in. The staff are pleasant and efficient as well as being unobtrusive and the food is good and well priced. The locals who use the pub are friendly and the Gower is the coolest... more

exterior puts you in mind of a seventies ski chalet that has seen better days. With me and the girlfriend touring Gower, initial impressions were that we had entered a time warp. Upon entering the hotel to register, upon inspecting one of the large paintings on the wall, what I presumed to be a signature turned out to be where... more

We had our wedding at the North Gower Hotel, on the 30th August, 2008. All I can do is praise everything about the hotel, and the staff that run it, because there was nothing at all I could fault about the service they provided us with. The quality of the accomadation, the food, the service throughout the day & night,and... more

We stayed at the hotel as a stop over in Swansea. Great location, near Cefn Bryn, and not a million miles from the centre of the city. Staff were attentive but the room was in need of a refurbishment. Breakfast was satisfactory and price was average for the area. more

We had our wedding reception at the North Gower Hotel on the 28th June 2008; the staff (in particular Giles and Maggie) were brilliant they went out of their way to help us and made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The food made by (Moody) was amazing, everyone is still commenting on how good the food was!!!... more

We were at the North Gower for a wedding party. Good choice of hotel because the room price made it possible for anyone who wanted to stay over. The ground floor and public areas of the hotel are very shabby indeed. Our room was in the middle of refurbishment; it was clean but basic. some of the rooms were not... more

Stayed in this hotel a few times this year with work on buisness in the area. It is a nice hotel in a lovely location (although somewhat remote) but it is looking rather tired and dated on the inside and in need of some refurbishment. But to be fair I think they have started on some of the rooms and... more
