Just come back from a 2 day break at the King Arthur and overall had a great time. Rooms are really lovely with views over the moors, very spacious and nice flat screen tv's with usual freeview channels. We ate in both nights and had 2 very nice meals, well cooked local produce and good service. I personally thought the... more

This review is only about my experience eating in the restaurant here. We booked a meal here after stopping in after a wet and windy walk along Cefn Bryn for a cuppa and it felt so warm and cosy we decided to come back a couple of days later. When booking the meal I told them I was vegan and... more

Went for meal here in the 'restaurant'. First off, I’m a veggie and haven’t come to expect much in a dining experience. The odd thing about this place is that they have you in at 6pm (too early) or 8.30pm (too late) and that’s it! The service was very quick and friendly but my food. I don’t expect, just because... more

The King Arthur is a fine looking white-washed pub, in the small village of Reynoldston on the Gower. We stayed for one night as part of a large wedding party and were quoted £90 for a double room. The room was fine, if a little small. The TV had only four channels, but in the middle of the Gower where... more

This is a lovely old inn, privately owned. It has been up-dated to become a small country hotel supported by all the ambiance of a great traditional pub along with friendly bar staff serving a lovely pint in front of a comforting log fire! Possibly the most welcoming staff on hotel reception we have seen in many years. They so... more

We stayed here for one night following a friends wedding, a great venue for a reception. The food at their wedding breakfast and evening buffet was lovely, much better than usually served at big events. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. Our room was well appointed and the bed very comfortable, with a lovely view to the rear... more

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was clean, had lovely views (we were on the first floor overlooking fields and hills for miles and miles) and was nicely decorated. The bar is busy for a reason - we thought the pub food was of a good standard. Great choice and food was well presented and cooked. We ate in the bar... more

This place was a major disappointment. It is attractive from the outside- large, whitewashed and with hanging baskets. At the back were quite stunning gardens, where they presumably take pictures at wedding receptions. But positives more or less ended there. Even at 2.30 pm we had to wait for our booked room to be made up.The room itself was in the... more

We arrived at the King Arthur Hotel mid winter having taken advantage of a 2 for one night deal. The hotel nestles on the edge of a beautiful national park. Wild hoses, great views and flowering heather surrounded us as we drove up. We checked in and the receptionist escorted us to our room in a newly built annexe. The... more

From the moment we arrived our short stay was wonderful. The welcome was warm and sincere and we were offered two nights for the price of one! Our room was very comfortable and warm and we felt good there. The food was really good and the friendliness of staff and other patrons was memorable. Really hope to go back there... more
