Weekday lunch yesterday - great value and excellent food as we have grown used to expecting. Some comments in here about price, yes staying here is at the top end, but then so is what you get. more

Beautiful house in an idyliic setting. A warm reception and a great room overlooking the garden. The room (including breakfast and dinner) was expensive and I think comparatively over-priced. Dinner was not as good as it could have been. We were a party of eight and most felt disappointed by their starters as was I. My main course was excellent... more

It's been at least a year since I last visited Fairyhill, and over time you can forget why you fall in love with a place. But within a couple of hours, amidst the serene country estate on the beautiful Gower peninsula, it all comes flooding back. The welcome was as warm as ever, the rooms and bathrooms have all been... more

My wife and I stayed for one night in a standard room which on a Saturday night costs £260 for dinner, bed and breakfast. The room was no different to a £40 Travelodge room in style and in some ways was worse. The mattress was like a bath sponge, the TV did not work and the bath was tiny. I... more

Stayed here for 5 nights at the start of September. This is a lovely hotel, certainly one of our favourites in th UK. We were greeted by the owners on arrival, who came out to meet us in the car park and help with our bags. They then took us straight to the room, no messing around with checking in... more

We just spent 2 nights at Fairyhil, it was the second time we visited this hotel. Our second visit lived up to our expecations and recollections. It is the attention to details and the small touches which makes this hotel special. The candles burning at night create a magical atmosphere and the general ambience of the hotel is both cosy... more

We went to Fairyhill for sunday lunch and we were not disappointed! It is a bit different when you drive in and we were a little uncertain on where to go, when we went to the front door we were greeted by a lovely man and shown through to the lounge where we had a drink and brought some delicious... more

I chose Fairyhill after all the great reviews and also because I found a discount on laterooms.com The place is beautiful and the location wonderful, it was my husband's first visit to Wales and he loved it. Only slightly imperfect thing was the shower that was a bit tempremental, but hardly worth writing more

Its not cheap but worth every penny - from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were well looked after The room was a bit smaller than I expected but well done with some great small touches. The food was fantastic and it was a pity we only booked one night - overall a non stuffy and... more

Stayed at the Fairyhill for one night, and had a very pleasurable time. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival, and our Superior room was very clean and tasteful. Beds comfortable, and a wonderful view of the front garden - even at this time of year. Small little things appeal to some (i.e me!) - two choices of... more
