We have now stayed at this hotel on more than 10 occasions this year. It is excellent. The staff are, without exception, outstanding. They are polite, friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful. The hotel is not attractive from the outside and yes - it's location does result in street noise. Neither of these disadvantages have ever effected us. The rooms... more

Stayed at the Dragon for 1 night. The staff at reception were really nice and helpful. The hotel is really nice decore red and black. The bedrooms are decent size - some are huge though and others are quite a bit smaller. The full breakfast is absolutely lush! Cereals, pastries, juices, toast, and traditional buffet fry up items. TIP -... more

The Dragon is in the centre so a good location with the added benefit of a small car park (additional parking in the NCP at reduced rates). The rooms are a little like a Holiday Inn Express or Travelodge but clean and adequate. Bed a little bumpy if I had to be critical. Perfectly adequate. The staff are their real... more

We used the hotel as a one night base to get a flavour of the Gower. Being right in the centre of Swansea it is a bit of a nightmare to find if you don't know the town! Parking in the hotel car park was free, but don't expect a place if you arrive late as it soon fills up.... more

My boyfriend and spent two nights in the Dragon hotel in Aug 09. As I surprise I booked the "P.S. I Love you" deal which upgraded our room, included breakfast and dinner, and had champayne and chocs in our room, which was wonderful value at £179 for both of us. Our room was very large, on the top floor. I... more

Stayed here with my wife a few months. The location of the hotel is superb and is within a short walking distance of the shops, nightlife, bus and train stations. The Liberty Stadium is a round 2 miles away so a taxi from the hotel will cost you just over a fiver. Our room was very small but quite nice.... more

I stayed here for a couple of days relaxation and exploring Gower. I was given a front room on the 7th floor with a dismal outlook which was very noisy (local traffic and especially police cars woke me during the night). Breakfast is not included and was not worth the £11 it cost, served in a not too well cleaned... more

Stayed at the Dragon for a saturday night, travelling with my spouse and friends, celebrating a birthday. Overall this is an excellent city centre hotel and 'does exactly what is says on the tin'. It is an excellent location for all of the city amenities and nightlife. The hotel is of a high standard and we found our room to... more
