My girlfriend and I stayed here for a lovely weekend. Barbara is so kind and helpful; the B&B is immaculate and the breakfast fantastic. The B&B is a short walk from the clifftop path; we walked from there out to Worms Head and then back via the inland path. The views out across the fields to the sea are lovely.... More

We've just returned from a perfect weekend. The weather was amazing, Barbara at West Pilton made us feel extremely welcome, nothing was to much trouble, ideal location, stunning views from our room. A good hearty breakfast to set you up for the day, try the poached eggs - first class. Definitely would return. Barbara has lots of local information about... More

There was a warm welcome from our host Barbara on arrival. Our en-suite room was clean and comfortable with a very well stocked bathroom cabinet. A pair of binoculars to view the amazing vista of garden, grazing sheep and the sea was a thoughtful touch to add. Always attentive, Barbara had a wealth of knowledge about local history and the... A beautiful, peaceful location on the coast in South Gower, with great views out to sea. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with their advice about what to do in the local area, the room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfasts were excellent. Wish I could have stayed longer!

We stayed in a lovely quiet room with a gorgeous view of the sea. The breakfast was very good too, and we were made very welcome. Our host offered all sorts of suggestions about places to visit, and where to eat out....all in all very helpful and friendly.

Our room and the dining room had stunning views over the delightful garden filled with colourful summer shrubs and fields down to the sea. We spent three very comfortable nights here. The room and ensuite were clean and well furnished. Every day we had an excellent full English breakfast and we liked the additional touch of different fresh fruit each... More

The B&B is superbly located, overlooking a beautifully tended garden, fields of contented sheep, and the cliffs and sea of south Gower, with views of Devon and Lundy Island beyond in good weather. The rooms were comfy and very clean (our towels and sundry items put on the washing line for airing each morning). Barbara Powell was a superb host,... More

A friendly welcome and plenty of local information from our hostess. Room a good size with outlook over garden to sea beyond. Comfortable bed. Lovely new-looking en-suite. Everything spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast with home-grown redcurrants! Nothing was too much trouble and every need had been catered for. Highly recommended - thank you.

While walking the Wales Coastal Path on Gower I spent a comfortable night at West Pilton House. Lovely views, clean room and good breakfast included. Barb was happy to transport me back and forth the short distance between Rhossili and the B&B. Very enjoyable stay!
