Stayed here for one night ahead of a work event near Newport. Easy to find off the A48 but couldn't hear any of the road noise from my bedroom which was facing the road. Parking was free, booking-in was quick and efficient, room was clean and of a good size and evening meal/breakfast at attached Beefeater pub was good too.... more

Our sat nav didn't seem to recognise the hotel's postcode so ignore it and follow directions as on website.( junc 28 /M4). We didn't ....so spent a frustrating 45 mins driving round Cardiff at night. Lots of speed cameras so beware !!!! We did eventually find a Premier Inn but it was Cardiff North not Cardiff East. Here, the reception... more

I stayed at the Premier Inn - Cardiff East for the Millenium Magic rugby league weekend, although the hotel is situated 7 miles from Cardiff City Centre, there is a 3 times an hour bus service which is £2.10 of £4.00 return and as long as you use private hire a cab should cost around £11.00 - there is also... more
