The rooms are big but freezing. We had the heating on all night and it was never warm enough.
The hotel itself is far from modern but is clean and the staff are way above average. Breakfast average.

We had a very pleasant weekend break here. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was very nice (best Hilton breakfast I've had) - well cooked and flavourfull. Room was OK, although a little tired (probably due for a re-decoration). We will visit again........

Newport is not immeadiatly associated with a holiday destination but the Hilton is idealy situated for touring this area. The Hotel was clean comfortable with very good Gym pool and spa area. Sunday lunch was excellent as was the breakfasts.

Reception fine, settled into Room 112, telly on, chilling and working on laptop (£15 for 24 hour internet - how does any hotel get away with charging for the net) - when my telly went off.
