Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Travelodge Newport Central garners compliments for its cleanliness and friendly staff, with the recent refurbishments of rooms receiving particular praise. While the central location is popular among guests for its proximity to the railway and town center, some have raised concerns over external noise disturbances and the additional costs for parking and Wi-Fi. Despite the occasional noise complaint, the hotel's atmosphere is generally considered warm and inviting, and many reviewers agree that it offers good value for a comfortable stay.

Horrible Travelodge. Dirty dark stains on bed sheets. Long and curly hairs in the shower!! I would not recommend this Travelodge. Parking is also £12.95 for 24 hours and that’s in a tiny NCP. Travelodge only has free parking for about 6 cars!!

Room 6 & 13 travelled as family with one year old for rugby in Cardiff. On whole hotel exceptionally clean. Receptionist Angelina very welcoming, very helpful & pleasant. We needed travel cot & one was provided immediately. Room again very clean & spotless. Fluffy towels & body wash provided. Bed very comfy had a brilliant nights sleep, quiet location. Car parking nearby pay & display. Train station very close. Good idea to stay here in Newport rather than Cardiff, as hotel cheaper when rugby is on. 10/10 Travel lodge staff... would defo recommend.

Clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, big thanks to Debbie and the team, enjoyable stay will definitely be back. Onsite parking with limited spaces, however, always seemed to have spaces. Ease of access to the train and bus station and pubs and restaurants

Travel lodge offers comfortable and clean accommodation. Fresh linens were available and the room was warm when I entered. In room tea and coffee supplies were available. I was quite comfortable and slept soundly.

Angelina on reception was so helpful after I arrived at 11.30pm. Bed is comfortable and location is perfect. I had driven down from The Wirral and had hit traffic on the way. I phoned ahead and was assured that it wouldn't be an issue. Really helpful.

Staff were lovely knolagable about the aria did there best to make us comfortable. There are loads of food choices in gentleman's walk near-by. The minuses is u get a little bit of noise from the nearby clubs and you can hear quite alot through the walls. Would recommend earplugs.

Peaceful, safe and very helpful, booked for two nights, but wanted to stay a further three nights, booked the first two nights on iPad, which I left at home, as can’t use my phone to book things online, the receptionist named I believe to be named Debbie, said bring your phone down to me, and I will help you, which I did. She had more patience than me, and successfully booked the extra three nights for me, therefore I was very happy with the service. All staff members including security were very helpful and welcoming, it was very peaceful and I felt safe. As I don’t get out much, i was a little nervous, but so welcoming by everyone that I was relaxed. Which made my stay an interesting experience for me. enjoyed my stay, and would definitely stay again. Thank you all, Dean
