I stayed for ten days while working in Cardiff. Alan upgraded my room on arrival, which was unexpected but very welcome. The room was comfortable and clean, with thick walls, so no problems with sound from the adjoining rooms. There are a few restaurants/pubs in the immediate vicinity and Bute Park is a few minutes walk away. Next time I'm... More

We stayed for just a couple of nights while visiting Cardiff for the Speedway Grand Prix at the Millenium Stadium. We were very impressed with the room which was clean and tidy and well equipped. Liz & Alan were very friendly and welcoming and contacted us on our way down to Cardiff to say the room was ready for us.... More

The house is beautiful and the rooms are cozy. Especially, if you are traveling alone I would recommend this place. The bathrooms too are quite big and the housekeeping is a major plus point. A special mention goes out to Liz who has maintained a beautiful garden.. its colourful and truly splendid to look at!

No 62 is lovely, quiet, with a lovely front garden, but delightfully close to several good places to eat, as well as the Cardiff cricket ground, which we shall call here Sophia Gardens. Alan and Liz were really delightful. Their decoration of the old house is very well done, and as I have stayed many times on Cathedral Avenue, I... More

Liz and Alan were the kindest, most hospitable inn keepers you could hope for! Extremely accomodating and quite friendly. When we needed to alter our reservation, it was no problem. The room was beautiful and just what we needed. Their gardens are full of beautiful flowers, and everything was well-kept. We give them the hightest recommendation.

I was in Cardiff for a conference and stayed at Number62 for the week. Liz and Alan were wonderful hosts, were very communicative before and during my stay, and made sure my visit was perfect. The room I stayed in was recently renovated and included many nice features - a wave of the hand turned on the bathroom light, excellent... More

I spent last week in Cardiff at a conference, and stayed in Number62. The house is old world, but has all the modern creature comforts available today. It is located very centrally and is within easy access of the centre of the city and all the major tourist amenities. The owners ensured all my needs were established and provided for... More

what a lovely house, lovely hosts and lovely location. Everything was immaculate from the easy and efficient booking, to having all questions answered to getting herbal teas. Nothing was too much trouble, every little need and detail were thought about in the room and the bathroom. The location was amazing, easy walk to the beautiful park, the castle, the museum,... More
