Well what can I say !!, what a fantastic place to stay in Cardiff !!! I stayed here for the weekend and was blown away with my experience. I have stayed in Cardiff before, and usually choose a branded hotel, but due to the rugby, the city was full. I found this little gem on the internet, and after reading... more

Some friends of mine had stayed here in July and recommended it when I was going to be travelling to Cardiff alone. Through a complicated series of events, said friend ended up coming with me to Cardiff, and he was pleased to be staying at Ty Rosa again. The guys there even remembered him! Their rooms are comfortable (mine was... more

Paul and Stuart are great hosts who made us feel very welcome, despite our late arrival on Friday evening. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to help when we asked about restaurants, travel, etc. The breakfasts also deserve a special mention - tasty, quality ingredients (especially the coffee), expertly cooked and served by the... more

We were greeted with a friendly, and very helpful welcome. Ty Rosa was tastefully decorated, lovely and clean. Our bed really comfortable, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and plenty of it too. We would stay there again when in the Cardiff area, we found the location quite handy for the centre and the bay, and could park for free on... more

I stayed one night, I arrived later than I hoped and was helped by one of the owners getting me a cab to a dinner I was going to. The room was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The service was prompt and friendly, and the breakfast options were numerous and interesting, and what I had was delicious. more

Have just stayed here for three nights after booking late and despairing of finding anything close to Cardiff city centre. ( I didn't realise that every hotel, b&b is full of workers getting the new St David's Centre finished in time for Christmas.) But I was delighted that I checked Tripadvisor and found Ty Rosa. It is pretty close to... more

I stayed at the Ty Rosa twice as I was working in Cardiff, on both occasions I found the staff to be friendly and accomdating on my arrival and the standard of cleanliness and up-keep of the rooms and communal areas was excellent. The rooms have a modern and faintly glamorous feel in the decor and the bathrooms were spotless.... more

After a first chance visit, this has become my favourite place in Cardiff (with the Bay as a close second). Paul and Stuart are wonderful hosts as is Keith. Max the dog will love to say hi to any dog-lover, but is well trained to stay in the back if you prefer him not to. The rooms are well kept... more
