I stayed at the Etap over the bank holiday weekend just gone a long with 9 other girls for my hen weekend, we were there for two nights. The location of the hotel is perfect, just 5 minute walk to Cardiff city centre and about 20 mins walk to Cardiff Bay. I would recommend that you take your own pillow... more

The Etap is essentially one step up from a youth hostel, but that isn't meant negatively. Rooms have very basic furniture and decor, but are clean and reasonably comfortable. By far the cheapest hotel in Cardiff that I would ever go near! more

People should be aware of just how awful and extremely poor value these hotels are! Although you pay £35 p.night initially, you cannot stay without spending a lot more!
