I thought we might be able to write something original after our weekend at the Beaufort Guest House but looking at the reviews to date, it's all been said before. And it's all true! It's a lovely place, lovely location, lovely breakfast, lovely owners and lovely staff.

We loved our two night stay in this Victorian Styled B&B in Cathedral St Cardiff. We had a King room (room2?) on the first floor which was reasonably large and had a lot of appeal. Breakfast room was a treat and the breakfast was outstanding. A nice sitting room downstairs was comfy while waiting the rain to clear. Always a... More

Had a wonderful stay here. Good location, short walking distance to town. Wonderful hosts and the best breakfast around! I stayed in a small single room but it was more than sufficient for my needs. Lovely breakfast room and lounge. Everything was clean and fresh. Decor might not be to everyone's tastes but the inviting spirit of the owners surely... More

Cardiff's Tourist Office recommended this guest house and I'm very lucky to have found it because I arrived in the city on a Saturday night without a reservation. It's on a relatively quiet street which I was pleased as the city center was too noisy and busy. I slept in Room 9 (located in the back, overlooking a small garden)... More

We stayed for 2 nights. It's not modern--Victorian in look and feel. Our room was on the second floor, and there's no elevator or anything. But they put biscuits in the room; the breakfast was good and the location is central to Cardiff. It's right across the street from the park, and the owner was very helpful with directions. We... If you want modern, keep away. This guest house is of the old style - Victorian comfort and welcoming. Near to the city centre without the hustle and bustle. Room was small but complete and everything worked. The breakfast was plentiful without going over the top and very well cooked. A good choice on the menu. The owner was helpful... More

My husband and myself stayed here for two nights. It is definitely a beautiful building and I was quite excited at the prospect of our room. I'm afraid I was disappointed. A very small double bed and a single bed crammed into a small room with too much other furniture. Ensuite was lovely though the hot water in the basin... More

Lovely place to stay. Plenty of parking on the road, also a car park round the park. 10 minute walk in to town, easy access into town. Only downside, breakfast is between 7:30am - 9.00am on a Sunday!!! The breakfast was very tasty and freshly cooked, and not swimming in grease. I would defiantly stay there again.

What a fantastic place this is - very friendly, excellent secure parking and a breakfast that was so very tasty, we had the family room which had a double bed and 2 singles, beautiful large room looking out over the front of the house, easy walk to the city centre, would go back !
