This is one of three hotels owned by Accor in the area and is very much the middle ground between the ultra-basic Etap and the more upmarket Novotel. As such, it's relatively inexpensive - we paid £66 for one night, not including breakfast - but also reasonably well-appointed. It's in a slightly odd location and, aside from a large roundabout,... more

Good standard of room, clean ans well kept. Bad a bit hard. Couldn't seem to alter the aircon so atmosphere dry. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. The location of the hotel is interesting. It is not in a pedestrian friendly area. The quickest way to City Centre or the Bay involves taking your life in your hands crossing a... more

I booked three rooms for 6 of us as a family get together for a big birthday. Parking was free which was an unexpected bonus. On arrival, I wasn't greeted with a smile, not even a hello although there were at least 4 people behind the reception desk. Once I got to my room there was pubic hair all around... more

Nice big room with an excellent large shower room with power shower. Some mould around the shower screen. Two easy chairs, one with a foot stool which was great. Small but adequate flat screen tv. Remote did not work which is nothing new in hotels. Don't they check the equipment? No tea or coffee on the tray in my room... more

Would highly recommend this hotel which was excellent value for money in comparison to other hotel chains. Parking on site (free) was an added bonus. On check-in, reception staff were very friendly and keen to help which is often rare these days. They were definitely aware of what excellent customer service means. The room was clean and spacious, the bed... more

I slept really well here - huge room, comfy bed, flat screen tv, not bad. Not somewhere I would stay for leisure, but serviceable and well located for work. The staff were fulfilling many roles; receptionist, cook, bar... which I think has affected morale. more

Stayed here for two nights for a family event. Found the hotel to be comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. Initial mix up over room booking, which was probably due to a misunderstanding, was quickly remedied to our satisfaction. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms spotless. The hotel is in a quiet location about 15 mins walk to town centre,... more

First impressions were not very positive. We chose this based on price and free parking. As the previous reviewer said the hotel is not in the center and not in the Bay and, I agree, not very pedestrian friendly. However, it is only about an 8 minute walk to city center once you cross over a kind of perilous roundabout.... more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights as I had a wedding in Cardiff. Was quite cheap and was preparing myself for the worse, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were fantastic, and brought us extra pillows on request. They also advised us on a Pizza place that delivered to the hotel, and called them to complain on the... more
