Clean, comfortable room and helpful staff when you could find them. Certainly not in Cardiff centre though - a long walk, crossing a busy road and through a less than attractive part of town, to get to the city centre and an even longer walk to the bay. And no wifi in the rooms. The view from our room was... More

I'm struggling to see how the Cardiff centre hotel is convenient for anything unless you want to drive or take a taxi!!! I also have to admit to having that sinking feeling when we arrived as it is squeezed on to a business park by a flyover and there's not one view of any quality. On the plus side the... More

We stayed recently for one night here. The hotel is a little way out of time but situated between Cardiff Bay and the city centre. The rooms were very clean, tidy and comfortable and we were very happy with this. We didn't partake in breakfast as we had an early train the next day. Parking is charged at £5 per... More

A nice hotel with friendly staff. I stayed with my two children and we felt comfortable (not at all cramped) and welcome. The room was very clean and the bathroom looked new. The breakfast buffet was nice and you were left to your own devices. Slightly convoluted walk to the sea front, as you can't walk down the main road... More

We were in Cardiff for the bank holiday weekend. Stayed at the mercure centre and after a long drive couldn't have been happier with our room. I am an Accor VIP member so had a quiet room on my preferences. We were at the end of a wing away from the main road and had 2 double ( queen) beds.... More

This is a good value for money hotel near the centre and the bay. The staff were all nice and the room was comfy and clean. Had the breakfast once and it was pretty good with lots of choice from cereals to full English If you're looking for a base when visiting Cardiff I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is not central, about 30min walk from central Rail Station, cross some very busy roads. The bed was really comfy. I arrived to find remote controller for television missing, staff were good and found me one. Lamps not Working as bulbs were missing. The room was clean and although the sink had a huge crack in, was also... More

Would recommend this hotel to anyone, fantastic staff who are professional and friendly... We stayed for three nights and were welcomed whenever we walked in (day time and night time) the food is great, the bar is great... The location is spot on for the city, it's a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre with great shops and another... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, never again. If you like playing chicken with the road? Then this is the place for you. Apart from being a 15 minute walk to the city centre It is situated right near a very busy road and roundabout, very tricky to cross. Didn't particularly like the area, once we negotiated the traffic we were... More
