I've read the previous reviews for this B&B and I have to say that most of them are in "black and white" colours. I'll try to provide a useful summary: Negative features: - they indeed ask for credit card details on the phone prior to arrival (this makes me feel somewhat uncomfortable) - the house is noisy if there are... Do not even think of staying here if you're going to Cardiff. They'll ask for card details over the phone and debit money from your account before you actually arrive. The people that run this so called business are thieves/scam artists/criminals. I'm currently raising a dispute to retrieve funds that were unlawfully debited from my account and will also be... Arrived on Saturday 30th nov. Cost £120 for a box of a room for 2 people. Communal bathroom. As everyone started getting up at around 7am would here everything such as doors closing, people going to toilet and walking around. Not great for a Sunday morning when all you want to do is sleep. Not had breakfast yet but an... More

We stayed here last weekend when we went to Cardiff to watch the rugby, the room was clean and tidy and plenty big enough for two lads staying in a twin room. We might have been given a family room as there was a double bed and a single bed, the room was en-suite with towels provided. The breakfast was... More

Very bad experience.Booked a room ,paid a £20 deposit to reserve.Turned up on the day ,tired and 100 miles from home to find out that they said the room was filled and they had no record of our name.Decided to drive home which was not ideal as we were dog tired and had to be back in Cardiff the next... I will just stick to the facts. The room was competitively priced no doubt but no price could justify the set up,which started with the manager always being on the phone when approached and not really engaged in helping in any way. That said obviously everybody can have a bad day. And so to the facilities (or lack of!) -very... More

Room was the size of a shoe box, tv was smaller than my ipad, an inch of dust an dirt on my tv, an the carpet hadn't seen a Hoover, went to make a cuppa tea with my complimentary tea bags but they were all stuck together by the last person that attempted to use them! I know I'm a... More
