5minutes from the station on foot and we were there. Millenium stadium can be seen from the lounge windows. Real rugby atmosphere before the match becasue it is really close to the stadium. A male voice choir was singing in reception area. We were able to go shopping and take our shopping back to the room etc. no need for... more

This hotel is in the best location in Cardiff. Located right beside the Millennium Stadium and across the road from Cardiff Castle. Shops, bars, cafes and restaurants are only a two minute walk from the hotel. However, this Holiday Inn is expensive to stay in. Room rates can be very high. The staff in the hotel are very friendly but... more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Cardiff for one night in early July 2009. The location is absolutely great, right next to the Millennium Stadium, and just opposite the castle. The shops and bars are about a 5 minute walk. It is also surprisingly easy to find, but as it's in the heart of Cardiff, the traffic can sometimes be... more

The Holiday Inn is located just down the road from Cardiff Castle and so is very close to all the main shops etc. Rooms were very clean and modern and reasonably quiet at nght. The meals in the restaurant weren't exactly inspiring and it was the same choice for the 4 nights we stayed. Staff were not particulary efficient though... more

We stayed here for 2 nights before a football match. The hotel is within a 5 minute walk from the main train station and within seconds from the main shopping/dining/drinking street. it is also very walkable to the Millenium stadium, and the Castle. It is possible to walk to the new football stadium across from Ninian Park, but there is... more

No issues at all with this hotel. Perfect location in the centre of Cardiff, with easy walking access to Cardiff Central Train station, and all the main areas of Cardiff. Staff were very pleasant, and looked after all our needs. Room was brilliant, with a big bathroom, and excellent views of the river, and my friends rooms had good views... more
