Just returned from here after a couple of days whilst moving my son back home from Uni. The staff were just amazing and a credit to the Hotel. Being recognised by Kate that knew us when we stayed at the city centre premier in Cardiff started off our visit in fine style. Lynda on reception was a true diamond and... More

As indicated on previous reviews we stay here when ever we come to visit my daughter. However this occasion was special as she was getting married, so we stayed for two nights. The staff have always been pleasant and helpful, but this time it seems they have been on a course for customer care. I can only say that the... More

Cardiff North hotel was closed due to an emergency. The staff directed us to Cardiff City centre hotel. They provided a free meal deal for the three of us plus a free taxi for my son from the railway station to the hotel. What could have been a disaster ended up as a present stay at the alternate hotel. The... More

Starting with the negatives; I booked a twin room which consisted of a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed seemed not to have been set up correctly as it creaked and clanged every time you moved or turned on it. The headboard on the double bed was stained, you could see the outline of where heads had... More

I couldn't sing the praises of the staff at this premier inn more hightly. They were attentive and friendly throughout our weekend. We had a couple of issues (hard bed and busy restaurant at breakfast) which were very quickly resolved.

From the outside it looks like some 1970's tower block. Rooms are small, hardly enough room to put the ironing board up. No room in the bathroom but at least they didnt have those bloody airconditioning units like most premier inns. You know the ones where they're constantly on and when you get in you room its like ice station... More

This Premier Inn, once a Forte Posthouse and a Holiday Inn, might not be the most modern hotel but what it lacks in appearance it makes up for in quality of stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms clean and cosy. The integrated restaurant had some old fixtures and fittings from its Posthouse days, but along with... More

I was sent to this hotel at 10.15pm following a nightmare 9hrs at Cardiff Airport which resulted in our 2pm flight being cancelled at 6.30pm.By the time we were rebooked for flights the next day and hotel accommodation found for us it was after 10pm and we hadn't eaten since 1pm as always thought the 'updates' would say the flight... Booked in advance so got a great price for a 2 night stay for 2 adults & 2 children including breakfast. Convenient location for visiting our daughter at Cardiff Uni plus free parking on site. Park & ride very close by.

We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights to visit relatives nearby. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable if a little tired. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bar and restaurant are part of the hotel (ie not next to a Beefeater pub or similar). We did not use the restaurant but it looked welcoming. The room overlooked the A48... More
