We found this hotel very convenient for central Cardiff- castle, shopping, restaurants etc. Room small and basic but clean & comfortable. Bed comfy, quite hot at night - too noisy to keep window open all night as room faced the railway. Good value for money. Our third stay here and will come again.

Wasn't very impressed with this ibis. The location is excellent, and the rooms clean and the staff friendly. However, the tv was intermittent - channel 4 didn't work for one of the days of our stay, then was replaced by more 4, and then eventually restored on day 3. The hotel is conveniently located just a stone's throw away from the city centre. Accommodation is basic but you are provided with everything you could want. The room was clean and despite overlooking the railway, was very quiet ensuring a good night sleep. I would have no hesitation in staying again.

Very basic hotel. Good central location to bars and restaurants and shops. Bed are very comfortable, pillows aren't. To watch TV you have to pay extra. Could do with a refurb to add an extra touch or two. The room on a whole reminded me of the inside of a static caravan (plastic and basic)
