This is a handy hotel for me when visiting relatives. There is no Premier Inn restaurant so you are directed into David Lloyds Fitness place. - BUT Avoid the breakfasts in David Lloyd- or just go for the continental . Or even better go out for breakfast. more

loved it

I stayed here in January after my daughter was rushed into hospital. I turned up on late at night and asked for a room, they had just two disabled rooms left, I was allocated one of these. The room was very large and clean. As I was travelling on my own I ordered a meal from the bar, which was... more

After I'd had problems with my last stay at a Premier Inn (in Newcastle) and had been told to mention it when booking my next Premier Inn stay (to get some kind of discount) the staff at this branch were keen to ensure that I had a comfortable weekend. They were extremely helpful from the moment I rang up to... more

I went to Cardiff for a nice little weekend break and stayed here. It it off the main road behind a leasure club and, as a result, it is a very quiet area. This is good because there are no traffic noises at all t disturb you. The (free) car park is very large and, for added security, you need... more

Not the Ritz but for a cheap city break, a good value hotel, with good leisure centre facilities if you want them on hand. Located a taxi journey from the centre of Cardiff, but in a quiet area so a good place to get some sleep! Taxi ride cost on average £7-8 and were readily available each time we called. more

What a disapointment. Having stayed at a few of the Premier Travel Inns by now our expectations were set, only it didn't quite work out. The problem isn't with the service or the room, the problem is with the location, the restaurant and the other guests. First of all the location isn't brilliant. It's located out in the back blocks... more

I stayed with five other friends and family for a wedding. in Cardiff. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were extremely helpful and nice, and although the location was a bit out of the way (we had to take taxis to town which cost £8 each way), it was very quiet. There was a David Lloyd leisure centre... more

i stayed at this hotel for two nights in a family room alongwith my wife and kid. The hotel itself was good, modern and the room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly but limited in information since they didn't know where the cardiff visitor center was. The only problem i had was with the location. Its... more
