Me and my family stopped here August bank holiday for 3 nights. It is located near plenty of retail shops and is a short drive to Cardiff town centre. Staff pleasant and very helpful, room was very clean. We did use facilities in the David Lloyd leisure centre as got it half price while stopping in premier inn. Really enjoyed... More

Stayed here while visiting family. Quite a way from the city centre and bay area, you would need to drive and park. Quiet location but only a walk away from out of town shopping area. Food and drink is served at the leisure centre next door which is a bit odd but pleasant enough, bar is a bit pricey. Room... More

We had a great stay at Roath Premier Inn. It was very close to the centre of Cardiff. (short drive). The parking was excellent and it is very close to a large shopping centre with several chain restaurants, a Morrisons and some other large chain stores. The buses were also very good, although we found parking in Cardiff very good... More

Staff friendly and helpful! Family room was a decent size with useful facilities such as: fans ( when the room got too hot), shower gel & shampoo (for shower and bath use), an efficient hair dryer (however mirrors in awkward places, and a very decent sized TV (available to see from every angle in the room! However we did have... More

Good value of money stay. But I was expecting more than what I got for the amount of money I paid. I've had similar stays in other hotels for more or less same rates but they had more facilities. There was no intercom in the room. The shower head was fixed and unmovable, so while adjusting the water temperature, I... More

We were in Cardiff for a wedding. I wasn't sure what to expect. Upon checking in, the staff were very friendly and the room was very nice. It is an older hotel, but the rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. Great place for the money.

Stayed here for one night before transferring to a Holiday Express Inn for two nights, so the chance to compare the two was ideal. You can see my review of the HIE, but Premier Inn won hands down. The Hotel's biggest weakness is its location. Tucked round the back of an ugly industrial estate, it is nestled against A David... More

We arrived at the Premier Inn a few hours early , the receptionist said the room was ready and let us check in early. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and there was a fan if it got too warm, also a sheet if the duvet was too warm. The staff were very polite, friendly and very helpful, they should be... More

Having stayed in many premier inns all over the country I have found my stay at Cardiff roath to be one of the best. The staff were very friendly in particular the lady called antenna who was extremely helpful for the full duration of my stay. So much so that I have decided to extend my stay at this hotel.her... We took advantage of the £29 per night deal which was fantastic value. Even though the hotel is outside Centre of Cardiff there were frequent busses from the end of the road and taxis are always available at under £7 each way, making the City easily accessible. Situated next to the John Lloyd Centre the hotel is very quiet and... More
