Needed a place to stay as was in Cardiff for work during the weekend. Friendly staff. Room was exactly like another Campanile hotel I was in. So, you know what you're getting. It is decent, nice, clean, good wifi. Will definitely come again. Recommended if you're looking for a comfortable place to say that is decently priced.

Booked here with my partner & 4year old for an overnight stay and it was average to say the best for it. We couldn't check in a moment before 2pm,the bathroom was very old and worn with stains, and there was continual noise during the night and the morning from what sounded like a boiler room/external air con unit or... From looking at the previous reviews, I was a little skeptical about booking the hotel, but I am glad we did. We were only looking for a clean and comfy place to lay our head for a couple of nights whilst we visited Cardiff, and that is exactly what we got. I was even pleasantly surprised that someone came in... More

I'm not sure many people stay here as their first choice. About 10 minutes outside Cardiff located on an industrial estate. The rooms are like an American motel or Crossroads for those that remember. 2 blocks of rooms with a central restaurant/bar and reception. Staff were frendly enough, the bar meal was ok, the prices are inexpensive. Room was basic.... More

This is the worst hotel room I have ever set foot in. I booked with my teenage son , so we had a twin room , we were given the ground floor , the room was next to an alleyway I can only describe as something off the shameless estate TV programme , the location was terrible, right at the... More

Hotel was perfectly adequate. Rooms were kept very clean. Next to main road but there are wind down metal shutters that DO block out the noise. Food not wonderful but there is a very good Toby Carvery 2 minutes away that does the best cooked breakfast.

I was back in South Wales for the second week in succession and after a fantastic stay in Bridgend other properties had a mountain to climb. My day started in Wrexham at 5.15 and I’d spent an entire day inspecting a factory so I was tired, hungry, and not nice to know. The signposting from the nearby dual carriageway was... More

We booked by calling the number advertised on their website and talked to a real person who quoted us 39GBP (including taxes, fees etc). The actual amount they charged our credit card ended up being 56GBP. The reservation agent asked our arrival time, which we gave a one hour window and arrived during that time. The agent knew that the... More

Visited while the Speedway GP on so it seemed that every hotel in around Cardiff where charging well over the odds. Cost us £246 for 2 Nights (Breakfast Extra) The Campanile was the only one that had a room for us. To be fair pricing aside this hotel was not bad at all, the room was clean and tidy and... More
