Stayed for a rugby weekend so did pay a typical Cardiff higher price for the room but it was worth the money. The hotel is located a few mins walk from the train station (flat pavements too for ease of dragging suitcases). The hotel is beautifully clean and tidy in the reception area. We had a twin room with 2... More

I was offered a room by a friend who had booked it for a rugby international weekend. It was supposed to be a 'premium' rated room due my friend's Marriott loyalty status. However on arrival we were allocated a room that I can only describe as a former broom cupboard. I very much think that in the 60's or 70's... More

Stayed last night. Lovely hotel clean and great location for central Cardiff, very comfortable bed & lovely pillows. Superb personal customer service- cannot speak highly enough of the staff, one of our party was unwell and hotel staff allowed us to keep room for and extra 2 hours etc despite being very busy , we couldn't ask for more. Hope... More

Hotel is located perfectly in the heart of the city. Easy access to the shopping mall and restaurant. Cardiff castle and Millennium stadium is within walking distance. Cardiff Bay is just a short 5 minutes drive from the hotel. The room is what you would expect and more importantly clean. The draw back is the car park. It is not... More

Was not dissapointed with this hotel, the Hotel was spotlessly clean especially the bathroom. The hotel is perfeclty situated for all the local attractions and Cardiff city centre which you enter as soon as you step out of the door. The only draw back we encountered was there was not much selction for vegetarians at breakfast, apart from this everything... More

Stayed while working locally, difficult to access by the car with sat nav but got there eventually. Reception staff very good, rooms as expected if a little tired, I checked out but had to stay a second night unexpectedly, so had another room on another floor on checking back in. Both rooms were the same std so expect the whole... More

Stayed one night here just this weekend after our prebooked b&b turned into a nightmare. Great price for a Saturday night, lovely room with such comfy beds and great location. Stayed on a room only basis so cannot comment on food/drink. I would definitely stay here again though and recommend it to anyone.

I have just returned from two nights stay at the Marriott in Cardiff as I had planned this for some time as part of my husband's 50th birthday celebrations. I booked the suite and was not disappointed. The accommodation was FABULOUS and the staff in the hotel were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a meal on the... More

The hotel is conveniently located. From here, you can walk to the Cardiff Castle and nearby restaurants. The Cardiff Bay is within a short bus ride away. The front desk staffs are friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for two nights for business purposes. The room was lovely and the bed incredibly comfortable. Morning and evening meals were nice, even if the glass of wine I had with it was slightly overpriced. Cost is my only issue with the hotel - £6 for a thimbleful of wine, £6 p/h for wifi and £15 p/d car parking... More
