This hotel has a perfect location if you need to be in the centre of Cardiff. There is one road to cross to get to the big pedestrian area of Cardiff and the chopping centers there. 5-10 min walk to the railwaystation so it is easy to come and go. There is a big gym and poolarea in the hotel,... More

We stayed for two nights at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff. On arrival the staff were efficient and we were quickly provided with keys to our room. The first problem was the lifts. These are unbelievably slow. Even though there are three lift cars it was often necessary to wait a very long time for one to arrive. When we... More

I stayed twice in Marriot and it has the best locality, very convinient for food and shopping. Though the rooms are small, the breakfast and service is good. The dinner menu can improve but i enjoyed my stay all through out.

Stayed here bank holiday weekend. Was pricey but great location. Good spa although staff at spa were unfriendly and pool could have been warmer. And next to bars, shops and restaurants. 2 min walk from station. and pillows are out this world! Definitely be back soon

........and on this occasion I wasn't charged, so as everything else has remained at the same standard I can give it that grading. (I'm not sure why I wasn't charged, I can't believe that it was because of my last review and should probably have asked). To recapitulate: the hotel is only a few minutes walk from Cardiff Central station... More

We recently visited Cardiff over the St. David’s Day weekend. We decided to stay at the Marriott Hotel on this occasion. It must be more than twenty years since we stayed at this hotel, and of what I remember what it was like all those years before, I could see on arrival that the area had changed enormously and the... Stayed here with my wife on a busy Friday night, two weeks ago. Very impressed. Excellent friendly efficient check-in, attentive staff and a beautiful clean, large bedroom on 10th floor with a view out over Cardiff Bay Our only minor complaint was that we could not shower on the Friday evening due to a maintenace issue with a burst pipe....it... Stayed here several time. We had a great free upgrade to executive king. Nice room and use of the lounge was a bonus. We thought the bed was not so soft as other stays. We couldn't fault the breakfast and service was faultless. Young kids running around playing hide and seek after 9pm was enough to send us to bed... More

We ate here tonight and we were very happy with the presentation - kids meals very good value at £3.75 , with real hand made pizzas so the kids were well looked after .fast service and all served at a good temperature. Adults meals were also of reasonable value - mixed grill was very nice - the chicken Caesar salad... More

Ok rooms. Ok bar. Ok food. Well situated for the city attractions (the fish restaurant next door is great). My second time at this hotel and I couldn't find my way in (road works). My Sat nav struggled, doing laps of Cardiff. All of which didn't do my stress levels much good after a long 4 hr drive. Some brown road... More
